Frinished challenge: Europian reading

This was an easy and pleasent one. :) I was even hoping that there will be higher goals for the next year to make things more exciting. This is what the rules were:

Rules:The idea is to read books by European authors or books set in European countries (no matter where the author comes from). The books can be anything – novels, short stories, memoirs, travel guides, cookbooks, biography, poetry, or any other genre. You can participate at different levels, but each book must be by a different author and set in a different country – it's supposed to be a tour

I sign up for:

Five Star (Deluxe Entourage): Read at least five books by different European authors or books set in different European countries.

 

And what I read:

 

•  Ireland Skulduggery Pleasent - Dark Days by Derek Landy - an Irish author, and the story is set in Ireland mostly too
• Russia  Less Angel by Zotov - a Russian author ( and set in heaven)
• England - The small bachelor , Jeeves and the feudal spirit and other books by P.G. Wodehouse
• Bulgaria - Foxy's adventures at sea by Boris Aprilov
• Sweden Lotta at Troublemaker street - Astrid lindgren
• Austria -  all of the Tomas Brezina's books
• France - all thing Asterix
• Holland/ Netherlands - Robert van Guilik. I think it counts even if I read only his Chinese murder works this year

I think this is it, 8 European contires in total. It was a fun trip :D

 Eвропейската екскурзия беше едно лесно и приятно предизвикателство тази година. Даже ми се искаше за 2013 да обявят и по-високи нива, за да е по-интересно. Аз се записах за най-високото ниво, което беше пет страни. За "страна" се брои ако действието се развива в съответната европейска страна или ако авторът е от там. За мое щастие, ревютата не бяха задължителни, така че ето какво прочетох:

• Ирландия - Скълдъгъри Плезънт от Дерек Ланди
• Русия - Епидемия в рая от Зотов
• Англия - Нюйоркски гении и други от Удхаус
• Швеция - Децата от улица Тряскаджийска от Астрид Линдгрен
• България - Приключенията на Лиско по море от Борис Априлов
• Австрия - книжките на Томас Брецина от "Шт, това е тайна"
• Франция - Астерикс
• Холандия - Робърт ван Хюлик и Китайските му загадки (мисля, че се брои, тъй като той е оттам, въпреки че тази година четох само от произведенията му за Китай

Имаше и други книги от същите автори и или от други от същата страна, но в крайна сметка резултатът от екскурзията ми в Европа е осем страни. Отсега стягам куфарите за екскурзията догодина :)
