Themealicious May wrap up

 

So the theme for May was monochrome... pretty hard task! Well to make it easier, the actual rule was the following:

Monochrome May

Pick a color, any color, then stitch only on projects that contain that color for the month!

My initial plan was to pick blue and work on Spring and on Howl. But I'm oh-so-good with plans. In the end I picked... yellow. I myself was surprized by it.

As I confessed last time, I gave in and not only bought a pack of Randal dragon charts, but even started one. This particular start has those huge chunks of colour, you won't say it's a Haed, lol!

The first rows were done in the last week of april while the rest in May - I forgot to take more wip photos so I have only one to show you, as it is right now:

I honestly don't now if this counts, but I barely stitched anything else in May :D

Jumanji June

Is it a jungle out there in your stash? Give some love to the projects with animals or birds.

Hm, animals and birds. Well, the suspects this time would be  the beaded penguins, the Bathing day with the plushies (plush animals should count!) and I guess the dragon too. But there won't be as much stitching in June as I might wanted, because I'm starting my exam session now. I've sheduled some posts with crafts and stuff I've done from March till now that I just forgot showing, so at least there will be something happening here! And I will try to check blogs now and then. These last weeks I've been bulk reading everything in my Feedly once a week, and commenting rather randomly. So sorry to anyone whom I missed commenting! I really love seeing all of your works and read all about crafts and books and life, and I promise to get back to active commenting once the exams are over!

Предизвикателството за май беше... монохром. Доста трудничко, поне за мен! За да улесни участниците, Хедър беше предложила следното тълкувание "Изберете един цвят и шийте само по проекти, които го съдържат". Е, така... горе-долу го докарах XD

Първоначалният ми план беше този цвят да е синьо и съответно да работя по Пролетта и по Хоул. Обаче вместо синьо... излезе жълто.

В началото на май се похвалих/оплаках, че по време на разпродажбата на Хаед не можах да устоя и си взех комплекта книги с дракони на Рандъл Спанглър. Също така си признах, че се поддадох и започнах първата от поредицата "История на шоколада: любовна история". Тази схема съдържа доста големи блокове от цветове, почти невероятно за Хаед и затова се шие доста лесно и бързо. Също така съдържа доста жълто-златно... и това се превърна в моя цвят за месеца.
Не съм сигурна, дали се брои, но докато надничах по блоговете, открих и други доста по-заобиколни тълкувания на темата, тъй че мисля, че става :D

Темата за юни пък е Джуманджи :D Още не сме си отдъхнали от Амазонския април, и хайде пак в джунглата. Този път условието е различно - проекти с птици и животни. Заподозрените в случая ще са мънистените пингвини, Ден за баня (плюшките се броят!) и драконът. Но за съжаление, през юни няма - или поне не би трябвало - да има значителен прогрес, защото сесията ми започва. Насрочих няколко поста с неща, които съм правила от март насам, но така и не съм постнала, така че поне тук в блога ще се случва нещо :) Четенето и коментирането също ще пробвам да не зарязвам - или поне не повече, отколкото в момента. И сега я карам на едноседмична проверка на фийдлито и случайни коментирания на постове. Затова се извинявам на хората, чиито постове съм пропуснала да коментирам. Винаги ми е интересно да чета и за произведенията и за книгите и за всичко останало :) И се надявам скоро да мога да реванширам!

Blue

I think I should have saved all that blue for Monochrome May, but then again, there is MOAR where this came from. There seems to actually be a reason why the Maia kit of the same picture is with blue aida. Anyway, at least I cought up on half of the second season of Stargate SG1 on saturday while stitching this.
Now, for the days left of March, I'll be trying to bead a little on my Fairy. I think I am going to clear my goals for the March Madness, yay!
Oh, and just one more note - don't forget to get yourself entered in Kate's giveaway! It will contain a lot's of yummy things + one little prize donated by me - Winner's favourtite day of Christmas out of theDragon dreams (yes, I am using this as an excuse to stitch one of them, after seeing the little dragons Jo is making!). Може би трябваше да си запазя всичкото това синьо за Едноцветния май, каквато ще е темата за май месец. Но, от друга страна, има още мнооого синьо. Имало си е причина другият вариант на тази картина, на Майя, да го продават на синя аида.
Във всеки случай обаче, понапреднах доста в събота - и със синяото, и с втория сезон на Старгейт. В оставащите дни от месеца ще поработя с мънистата върху феята - и изглежда, че ще успея да си изпълня плановете за мартенската лудост. СТават чудеса! :)

Diana Wynne Jones march :)

Do you know that March 2013 is Diana Wynne Jones month? Have you been celebrating for more than 2 weeks already, or you just found out?

This month I haven't got a chance to read some DWJ, but instead I started a How'stitching project! The pattern is from Sprite Stitches - not the littlemojo one. It's still in the very beginning, but I will work on it during the movie and I will update with a real Theme-a-licious post after it

Подсказвам - авторката на Хоул :) Независимо дали вече две седмици празнувате, или чак сега чувате, винаги може човек да се включи, още повече, че за тази вечер (19 часа наше време) е планувано гледане на класиката на Гибли - която поне за мен е по-добра и от книгата ;D

Smog

These last days I've been trying to catch up on reviews as I actually have some reading challenges finishedq and all I need is review to count them off. But I had some time to stitch too, mostly while watch ST and today Torchwood, as I haven't figured yet how to stitch and read.
So I grabbed my Steam punk fairy and went stitching the second page= True, things so far haven't been very exciting. All I've been stitching is the boring smogy background, but on the next row as I'm going down, I'll be straring the cute hair bun and the yummy pinkish ribbon.

Последните дни отчаяно се опитвам да наваксам откъм книжни ревюта, защото имам няколко предизвикателства, които са си изпълнени и прочетени, и остава само да им добавя ревюта, за да ги броя напълно приключени, честно и почтено. Но ми остана малко и за шиене, най-вече под съпровода на Стар Трек, и днес Торчууд, защото още не съм измислила как да чета и да шия едновремено. Проблемът е в обръщането на страниците.
Затова си грабнах Стийм пънк феята и се заех с втората страница. Наистина, досега тя не беше много интересна- ших само скучния фон от пушеци и смог. Но със следващите редове трябва да стигна сладкото кокче и разкошната розова панделка, така че има какво да се очаква :D

Oh my, I really didn't mean to be gone for so long

Aah, once again, a typical case of life getting in the way *sigh* Not a whole lot to tell, but i'll try to manage a 5 things tomorrow! And for now, in order for this not to be a pointless post, how a bout a wip piccu of a project you might have thought I forgot? Here's my Spring, half of page added.This last weeks I've been mostly working on the card for the exchange, but I can't show it now, although I think it's safe. I wanted to post it yesterday, but missed the posting hour and will have to do so on Monday. I hope it will arrive on time!

This is going to be a short one

A short post, it is. Aaah, I was hoping to finish filling the hair, but couldn't make it. But tomorrow I'm going to something like mini trip, and I won't have internet access over the weekend and the beginning of the next week, so I thought about posting something. And that means that my Sunday things won't be on Sunday, sigh T___T But if I'm lucky, there might be some llamas. Take care!
Ех, надявах се да мога да свърша днес косата, но не успях. Утре тръгвам на нещо като мини екскурзийка и няма да имам интернет, което значи че петте неделни неща няма да са в неделя. Но затова пък с малко повече късмет, може да съдържат лами :D

Back to the good ol' stiching

But first let me : Wow, people, you're all such fast bloggers! I feel ashamed for procrastinating and getting distraceted. So now - I'm gonna sit and write this thing in one piece! Without going to do other things. So probably this post will be quite short XD

I have a couple of finished finishes to show - Puchu as a pillow, Hikaru keychain, and the baloon kitty, made in something that can be hanged on the wall. You name it. But this is just a teaser - cause my camera is down and I'll be able to make photos not until tomorrow. For now, I'll show you something that I can tuck into the scanner
And this is my sheep! I was a little uncertain about the colours, when the skein were just laid on the fabric, but now I like it ! Apart from this, there's not much to say about it for now

Still another thing that might be worth mentioning is that I joined the yahoo group of The Stitch Specialists, hoping that I'll finally learn some speciality stitches and French knot won't be a dirty word anymore. I still need some more time to get used to all this message board thing. Up till now I've only been visiting forums and blogs. But Ihope and believe that I'll manage it somehow, and that I'll try my luck (successfully maybe!) with the beautiful Tree of Stitches I've seen on your blogs, and maybe eventually, the cutie owl too. But that's way too far in the future! For now my future plans are way simplier - a movie, and a few stitches here and there before I go to bed. Oh and some posts ago someone asked - and I forgot to answer, shame on me!- whether I watched Harry Potter5 that night, or Much Ado About Nothing. Actually I made up my decision when I finished translating the post, and that night the winner was Harry (the Ado was next night). Right now I'm choosing between Harry Potter 7 the first part, and Love's Labour's Lost! Ah, the iternal battle between Harry and Shakespeare! (ok, it's actually more like Alan Rickman vs Keneth Branagh XD)

След като прочетох колко бързо успявате да напишете блоговете си, остава ми само кторичко да се срамувам от това колко ме бива в отлагането и разсейването! Честно се опитах този пост да го напиша без да се разсейвам. Само едно- две забягвания до Youtube докато се качваше снимката, но то не се брои! Нали?
Имам няколко завършени-завършени неща (т.е. вече съм показала самото нещо избродирано, но сега вече е приведено в приличен и краен вид) - Пучуто, Хикару и котката. Но те ще трябва да почакат, докато се зареди хубавичко батерията на фотоапарата. Дотогава нямам друг изобр, освен да ви покажа нещо, което мога да натъпча в принтера. А това е овцата.
Коледната ми овчица напредва бавно и славно под илюзията, че до зимата има много време. Засега няма да се каже кой знае какво за овцата, освен че отначало бях малко несигурна за цветовете, но сега ми харесват доста повече.

Иначе друго - включих се в Yahoo групата на The Stitch Specialists с надеждата като се навъртам около хора, които могат да правят всичките тези специални бодчета, да прихвана от тях. Малко още не мога да свикна с Яху-то, тъй като досега винаги съм била само на форуми и блогове, но да се надяваме, че и това ще стане. В далечно бъдеще виждам и мое собственичко ушито дърво на бодчетата, а може би дори и сова! Но такива далечни прогнози са доста несигурни понякога, затова предпочитам да залагам на не толкова отдалечените във времето. Засега за близкото бъдеще предвиждам филмче + някой бод тук и там.
Преди няколко поста се чудех какво да избера между Хари Потър 5 и Много шум за нищо. Онази вечер битката спечели ХП. А сега се колебая между първата част на Даровете на смъртта и Напразните усилия на любовта. Ах, вечната битка между Хари Потър и Шекспир. Е добре де, това може да се разглежда и като Алън Рикман срещу Кенет Брана XD

I'm so weak minded and lacking self control

Hi there, remember those promises I made a few posts ago, even accompanied with pics? No? Good! Neither do I, it seems! Cause since then I ended with 3 new books! But everything is absolutely explainable, I assure you.
First, on Thursday, I was leaving Varna after the official end of the uni year. I had to go down to the centre to do some work but rain started pouring. Well, it was only natural to go somewhere and hide from the rain, right, and it only happened so that I was dangerously close to my favourite bookshop in Varna. Long story short, I went out with 2 books in hand:

And Neverwhere from Neil Geiman. Cause he's so amazing. I read him even before Coraline was out. And the moment I saw this, my greedy hands where holding it, and my weak mind was thinking " And what if the book is not available in the bookshops in Bourgas?" I guess it's still good I didn't take American gods along! ANd I didn't put my glasses on. Imagine what other titles I could have spotted if I was with them!

But, as I was able to read in the bus on the way back and finished Neverwhere the same night - 5am is still dark, so it still counts as night - and Scot too the next day, it pretty much doesn't matter, as they didn't stay unread long enough to be added to the lists, right? I'm becoming a fan of Scot, very fresh and gave me such a good laugh, and Neverwhere as even better than expected. It was just as an icecream pizza - just as yummy with sweet topping and and bitter berries here and there, and you can't stop eating, cause it's meeelting, so faster, faster, faster!

And yesterday we were out with mom and we walked past Helicon, the biggest bookshop in my city, and I had my nose on the glass drooling over a bookie, not because I have no self restraint, but because it was the new series of Rick Riordan , following the adventures of the demigods!
I'm half the way through it for now, and currently loving it, and I promise I'll go back to my previously stated reading plans as soon as I read the last of those yummy pages. ANd, by the way, none of the Neil Geimans books was there! Lucky I got it while I was able, see!!
When I came back with this book, my sister accused me that if I didn't buy all those books, I'd have enough money to buy threads and start a Haed project ( the one she liked and voted for wasn't as big as all the ususal haeds, but after checking the floss list, it left the impression that every stitch is a different colour.)
Anyway, the reason I'm saying this, is to fluently pass from the reading theme on the stitching one. While I'm still wondering about what bigger project I want to try my luck with, I've been stitching too.

I was planning to finish my "Kitty with balloons" tonight but seems this will be due to tomorrow. I decided I want to stitch the balloons in varigated thread, but I had only three colours, when I needed 6. I bought the needed ones yesterday, but I still have two balloons left to stitch - for the progress picture please scroll bellow. and this reminds me that I haven't mentioned the actual name of the kitty design - it's Bringing up the rear . As you see, I'm doing only the third kitty, because it extremely reminds me to the cat of my landlady. I kept forgetting the name, because for a long time I didn't even took the time to actually chack what it means - yeah, I didn't know and I continue to learn new words thanks to stitchng, Among the most importants ones I learnt I'd put "mojo", "frogging" and "spiffy" . And yet, when someone says they lost their mojo, I can't help buy imagine a tiny Mojo Jojo hiding behind the sofa while the person in question is searching the house for him. Yup I have one hell of imagination that in this right momment goes toward Kuroshitsuji and how I want to stitch....

Anyway! I picked my sheep project, it's been actually waiting for some time now - it's been a love from first sigh, it's a "One-sheep open sleigh"! I'm doing it on the purple fabric I got from Cat last year and using the dmc alternatives provided - I only decided to change one blue for Ariadna. Very, very pleasent stitch, and I giggle everytime I imagine this sheep racing in the night sky with its silhouette on the moon.

Здрасти! Помните ли онова обещание, което направих преди един-два поста, и което даже подплатих със снимки? Не? Чудесно! Нито пък аз, както изглежда, защото от тогава се обзаведох с три нови нови книжки. Но уверявам ви, имам си много солидно оправдание.

Първо, в четвъртък си замивах от Варна и трябваше да сляза до центъра, преди да тръгна. Почна да вали и чиста случайност беше, че една от любимите ми книжарници беше най-близкото убежище. Накратко, оттам излязох с две томчета под ръка. Но! Едното беше първият том от поредицата за Скот Пилгрим, за която са се казали толкова добри неща, че от година сигурно се надявах да я преведат на български. И, о, чудо - молбите ми са чути - как да пренебрегнеш такъв знак! Граб! И освен това, Скот е комикс. Това не се брои за книга, така или иначе. Но тъй като още вали, налага се времето да се запълни. С пренебрежение успявам да подмина книгоразделителите, дори и онези, магнитните, с които колкото и да мяташ книгата, не си губиш страницата. Завой наляво, спирачка, Нийл Геймън! Достатъчно да се отключи блестяща проява на рефлекси като по Павловски. Нийл ГЕймън си го харесвам още преди да излезе филма по "Коралайн". Граб! А в мозъчето се въртят мисли от рода на "Ами ако в Бургас я няма?" Пак добре, че не излязох и с "Американски богове". Освен това, даже бях без очила. Ами, ако с тях бях засякла още някое заглавие?

Обаче, тъй като свърших "Никога, никъде, никой" (със супер готиното оригинално заглавие Neverwhere) същата вечер, защото 5 сутринта още е тъмно, а на другия ден и Скот, и тези книжки изобщо не успяха да се вместят в списъка на чакащите; смятам, че това е изключително оневиняващо обстоятелство.

Вчера пък с майка излязохме в центъра, радарите ми се задействаха и ме насочиха към витрината на Хеликон, където се кипреше първият том от новата поредица на Рик Риърдън! А по сигурна информация не е бил налице предния ден! И какво друго може да се каже освен.... слава на 10% намаление от промо чипа XD. Засега съм горе долу до половината и обещавам, че щом изгриза последната страница от това, се връщам към предишните читателски планове.
А между другото, в Хеликона ги нямаше книгите на Нийл Геймън!
Когато се прибрах, сестра ми ме обвини, че ако не си бях купила книгите, щях да мога да взема конците, за да започна да шия HAED. Това го казвам, за да направя плавен преход от книжната част. Докато още се чудя по HAEDския въпрос, все пак успях да поработя малко.

Накратко, котешки ъпдейт:

Всъщност, "Котка с балони" както аз го кръстих, се казва "Bringing up the rear" Реших да променя доста цветове, включително всички балони - реших да ги направя с тези шаренки конци, но се оказа, че имам в наличност 3 цвята, а пък 6 балона, затова и завършването малко се забави, докато купя останалите.

Овчи ъпдейт:
От доста време тази схема си чакаше реда. Казва се "One sheep open sleigh" и неминуемо в съзнанието ми изниква образът на шейната на Дядо Коледа, теглена от овца, силуетът отпечатан на фона на луната, и звън на чанове във въздуха. Е, в "Дядо Прас" шейната я теглеха прасета, така че не виждам никакъв проблем тази отговорна задача да се повери на някакъв друг род добитък. Според мен би изглеждало добре и с кенгурута.

Now to share the summer stitching plans :)

In the previous post I shared with you most of the books I plan to try and read this summer. But, of course, this is not the only thing I plan to do - as you can guess, I shall spare a good amount of my time to stitching and crafting too. So now I have for you some progress on the wips and also some big plans for new projects!

В предишния пост споделих повечето от книжкие, които смятам да опитам да прочета това лято. Но, разбира се, читкането не е едниственото нещо, с което имам намерение да се занимавам - една голяма част от времето ще бъде посветена на други хобита:) И сега следва малко прогрес по wip-овете, а също и големи планове за нови проекти!

Let us start with...

->The Spring of Japan
It's been almost one year after I started this and now I'm almost half the way through - 4 pages of 8, but the right side pages I'm currently stitching are slightly smaller than the left ones. The progress on this piece hasn't been very fast, but present, nevertheless. I plan to give it a little break now and concentrate on other pieces for the time being. Just let me share that I really hate metallic thread. And tiny little flowers too. I haven't checked how many of this I have on the next page, but here it is what we have for now:
Най-напред разбира се да кажем за Японска пролет. Почнах я преди почти една година и засега равносметката е - почти половината. 4страници от 8, но десните страници са по малки от левите. Бавен прогрес, но все пак, прогресът си беше налице. За известно време обаче смятам да и дам почивка. Между другото нека да споделя, че се настроих отрицателно към златния конец и малките бели цветчета.

Only one kitty, acually.About half way through, and I plan to finish it till the end of the next week. For now we have a cat, and a mouse. The backstitching should make the mouse pop up more .No baloons, but I promise you, they shall come too
После имаме котка с балони. Е, засега балони няма, има котка и мишка. Но обещавам, че и балоните ще пристигнат. Даже смятам до края на другата седмица да ги доставя. А мишката след млако контур трябва да изпъкне повече

->Next point on the summer wish list is named "Various anime sticthing from various sites" I have my eyes on so many. I have yet to finish one of the Missy's tinies. I don't know how lame it is to post a wip on such project, but it was on the same piece of fabric as the cat, so it got scaned - why throw it away in the virtual recycle bin?
Tретата точка от дневния, т.е. летния ред е озаглавена "Различни аниме неща от различни сайтове" Толкова много съм си харесала, че не знам откъде да започна. Имам за довършване още от дребната серия на Missy. Струва ми се в известна степен жалка картинка да публикувам wip на такъв проект, но беше на същото парче плат с котката, та защо да хвърлям картинката във виртуалното кошче за боклук?

Those are what you can call wips. Now for the new starts I'm planning! I see everyone's rotating several big projects, and I want toooo. So I decided it can't be that scary and that I'll start some and finish them... eventually!
I was planning to try and start a haed, but instead I picked something else in the cradt store and this is probably going to take its place - after all, let's not overdo it.
I bought a stamped design, I wanted to try one for some time, although I found them a bit scary. I definitely think ordinary counted cross stitch is the best, but aaall of the patterns in the store were sooo boring, I only found some stamps more interesting. The one I bought, I have absolutely no idea what its name is. I call it "Pretty 20s lady with awesome hat". Actually, I have no idea if the dress design is from the twenties, and it most likely is not, but not that long ago I read that book "Twenties girl" and it's still kinda stuck in my mind. Wish me luck with this one.
Тези дотук можеше да се нарекат уипове, или още работи в процес на... работа? А сега идва време за новите планове! По блоговете виждам как всички въртят на ротационен принцип по няколко големи проекта, и искам и ааааз ;P Реших, че не е чак толкова страшно, и че ще почна няколко...и ще ги свърша, рано или късно.
Смятах да включа в списъка и дизайн на HAED, но взех нещо друго от магазина, което сигурно ще заеме неговото място - да не прекаляваме с амбициите все пак :D
Взех щампа. от известно време ми се искаше да опитам, макар че ми изглеждат доста страшни. Разгадаването на символи и броенето на квадратчета по схемата определено има своята прелест, сравнено с взирането, за да разбереш това на роклята черно ли е, или онова супер тъмно сиво, което аха-аха и съвсем да премине на тъмната страна на силата. Но всички останали схеми бяха толкова скууу-чнии, само щампите бяха интересни, така че в крайна сметка взех тази. Нямам представа как се казва, аз я кръстих "Хубава дама от 20те с готина шапка" Всъщност не знам дали дизайнът съответства изобщо на двайсетте, по-скоро даже имам силни подозрения, че не е, но сравнително наскоро четох "Във вихъра на двайсетте" и това още има известно влияние. Пожелайте ми късмет с това.

But I have plans for moar things!
->I want to try my luck with one of the designs I made, converting piccus. I haven't decided wich one yet, I tried making pattern for Byakuya, Count D (Petshop of horrors), Belphegor (from the french animated series) and Cyrano de Bergerac. I LOVE all of those characters, so it will be hard to choose, basing only on love! Well, Cyrano is monochrome, and all of the rest are pretty colourfull, so... but we'll see

Искам и да се опитам с някоя от картинките, които направих на схеми. Още не съм решила коя, правила съм на Бякуя от Блийч, на Граф Ди от Petshop of horrors, на Белфегор от френската анимация, която преди доста години май вече даваха по БНТ, и на Сирано дьо Бержерак. Всичките герои МНОГО си ги обичам, така че това няма да може да бъде критерий, по който да избера. Сирано е един цвят само като силует, а и силно се надявам скоро да го играят и в Бургас, така че тези факти може да натежат в негова полза.

P.S. Just wanted to add that my list now contains one book less. I started "First grave on the right" still while writing that post - I just wanted to check the original English title - and then I couldn't let go till 4am. Then on the next day, first thing was to grab it, and at 2 pm I was all " Where is my next volume!?!?!" But it's not out yet sob sob sob T____T Good for you I can't write book reviews, but let me tell you, I'm so calling my next plushie Reyes.

Започнах "Първият гроб отдясно" още докато го пишех - така, просто исках да проверя оригиналното заглавия и я отворих - и не можах да я пусна до 4 сутринта. После на другия ден първата ми работа ми беше пак да я грабна , и в 2 следобяд вече беше фаза "Къде ми е следващия том?!?" А той още не излязъл даже... хник хник хник T____T Добре, че не се запалвам да пиша пространствени ревюто, но ще кажа само, че определено си кръщавам следващата плюшка Рейес XD

Happy Easter and other things!

Lately I haven't had the time to blog at all, so some things have piled up, but let's start with the most actual one! Happy Easter everyone!
Напоследък все не ми оставаше време за блога, така че се понатрупаха нещица, но нека започнем с най-важното! Христос воскресе! :) Честит Великден на всички и весело изкарване на празника!

Going back the time line, I need to show you some new starts. The most recent one is the Bleach logo from Dawn's site. It's for present. I was hoping to give myself a break from the Bleach fandom, but as I couldn't come up with some else suitable, it's Bleach again, lol! The picture is from this morning, but I stitched some more, actually almost all of the blue till the end of the letters is done now.

Връщайки се назад по времевата линия, имам два нови проекта, които започнах.. По-скорошният е логото на Блийч от сайта на Dawn. Искаше ми се да си дам почивка от този фендом, но тъй като е за подарък, а не можах да измисля нещо по-подходящо, остана си Блийч :) Снимката е правена тази сутрин, но оттогава доста напреднах - почти всичкото синьо е завършено чак то H на BLEACH

The second new start is the result from the IHSW! Oh, I'm so late with this! I was planning to continue working on the Spring this month too, but I forgot this project at home. So I added another wip, and yet another present. Lol it's a long tailed cat, if you can't guess it right away!
Вторият старт е от миналия уикенд, когато за пореден месец беше IHSW т.е уикенд, теоретично посветен изцяло за бродиране... тази последната част с изцялото рядко става, но това е друг въпрос. Това също се гласи за подарък, и ако не си личи, е котка - с дълга опашка :D

Аpart from the stitching, a very belated welcome to latest follower Juco, who I see lives in the beautifulHungary! I've been there only once, and for least than a day too, but it was striking beautiful and I hope I'll be able to visit this country again in the future!

И след разните крафтърски проекти, последно на ред идва закъсняло здрасти за последния последовател Juco , която видях, че живее в красивата Унгария :) Само веднъж съм била там, и за по-малко от ден, но ми направи страхотно впечатление, много, много красива, и се надявам да мога в бъдеще да я посетя пак!

Hermit and Stitch day results!

So here I am, at the end of the Hermit and Stitch weekend, with a cup of hot green tea, because I'm out of black tea, with more honey in it than it could possibly be healthy, and ready to show you my progress from the IHSW!
And this time there is some to show! I worked on Spring in Japan, and I haven't touched this piece since last months Hermit and Stitch. So..
Ta-dam! The fourth page is almost done! I started stitching on Friday and kept it through the weekend. Colourwise, it was fun to stitch, since some new colours popped up, or some I have used only a little. But there was a lot of metal thread to work with, which I don't like at all.
Since I know myslef, I can say that I'll pick up this piece again during the next IHSW XD But for the nest time, I see this page finished!
I'd like to make this a longer post, but I think I should rather check again the stuff I have for tomorrow. We have Friday off in our week schedule, but the first three days are hell >.> So one last thing - I wanted to say hello to
Blu from Therapy by thread!

И така, дойде края на поредни International Hermit and Stitch уикенд, който насърчава хората да превъртят два пъти ключа в ключалката и да си останат на топличко да работят цял уикенд върху някой проект, а после гордо да покажат резултата. И аз си стоя, с чаша зелен чай, защото черният свърши, който беше горещ, когато пишех първите редове на английски, в момента е топличък, а надявам се, докато свърша да пиша, ще е изпит; и гордо ви показва прогреса си на Японската пролет. Който си е забележим, нали? :D Не бях работила на него от предния IHSW, почнах в петък и ших през уикенда. И ето че четвъртата страница е почти завършена :)
Изкушението да пиша още глупости е голямо, но като знам колко ми е натоварена програмата за първите три дни от седмицата - за сметка на петъка, който е свободен - и май ще се въздържа. Исках само последно да кажа здрасти на Blu от Therapy by thread , чийто сладък котешки аватар съм виждала и преди, но някак си все съм пропуснала да кликна върху него.

И с това казано, приятна седмица на всички :)

Next Bleach chibi - sketch!

or what is the equivalent of sketch when it comes to stictching! As ususal, it seems that it took me way longer to make a photo, that to stitch, but anyway, here is what I'm currently working on!
This is not the best photo either, but as you can see, it's Hitsugaya taichou in progress!

There is a chance some of you remember that I said I'm going to try my luck with Ichigo next. Even if there is more than one reason to love and want to stitch Hitsugaya, I was really going to pick Ichigo or Renji. Then why this sudden change of heart - but why, cause I'm cheap as you know, and Hitsugaya uses the exact same colours as Byakuya , + one, while the bright hairs of Ichi and Renji would mean more thread buying! XD
And as I'm planning to go and buy a bunch of manga right now, this would better not be happening, lol

И ето го скеча на новото чиби, или каквото там може да се приеме като еквивалент на скеч, когато става дума за бродиране... :D Както обикновено, отне повече време да направя снимка, отколкото всъщност работих върху него... Но така или иначе - това е следващият капитан, Хитсугая!
Ммм, някой евентуално може да си спомня, че се заричах да почна друго чиби... Въпреки че има много причини човек да харесва ХИтсугая, и да иска да си го има от плът... т.е. от плат и конец, наистина се канех да почна Ичиго или Ренджи. Внезапната промяна на курса се дължи на факта, че Хитсугая използва съвсем същите конци като Бякуя, плюс още един. А ярките червени коси на другите двама кандидати щяха да наложат купуването на нови цветове....
А тъй като само след час смятам да ида и да си взема няколко нови лъскави томчета манга, това ще е по-добре да не се случва! XD

Hermit and Stitch day!

This time I joined the International hermit and stitch day, hosted by Joyce! This is the time to thank her and also Blackmageheart from the In the hand blog for deciding to follow me! Both of their blogs are full of absoluite awesomeness, so I'm sure I'll have a lot of fun reading them too!

Next to the actual update - to be honest, this was one of the most non-hermit weekends for me. This weekend was the first birthday of the anime club I joined, and a party was held. It was pretty cool (literally too 0 by some time I thought I was freezing, lol!) with a yummy blue cake and the most delicious home made sushi I've ever eaten. It was a nerdy-geeky party maybe, with lots of computer game playing - but I didn't, because I'm fail at it! - Yu-gi-oh cards and for me - some BLEACH! At some time with few girls we decided to practice our dancing skills with sirtaki XD and some other bulgarian dances (while they were listening rock and metal on the first floor) and we even though sirtaki to some of the boys! It was pretty awesome, especially the WTF faces of everyone who came in the room!

Anyway, end of the off topic - I worked on two projects, although I'm not sure if this was allowed.

Този път реших да се включа в International Hermit and Stitch Day, организиран от Joyce. Тук трябва да благодаря на нея и на blackmageheart, че са решили да следват блога ми. Аз самата ще следя техните с удоволствие!

Всъщност този уикенд беше доста по оживен за мен от бикновено, но все пак успях да свърша малко работа. Вчера беше партито послучай първия рожден ден на аниме клуба, към който се присъединх преди няколко месеца - но още съм newbie ;D Беше си страхотно, макар че по някое време ми стори, че става и минусово. Имаше голяма синя торта с емблемата на клуба, и най-вкусното домашно суши, което съм яла. Беше си geek парти, с компютърни игри - на които аз обаче не се пробвам, че и без друго не ме бива, дългочасови дуели с карти Ю-Ги-О, и специално за мен - БЛИЙЧ :D По едно време с няколко момичета ни хрумна да опитаме танцувалните си умения и се усамотихме в една стая да играем сиртаки и право хоро (защото за елениното така и не достигнахме консенсус как беше XD) около дуелиращите се с карти, под звуците на метъла и рока, които се чуваха от стаята отдолу :DDD Даже научиха няколко момчета как се танцува сиртаки, а мен се опитаха да ме научат на самба. Най-безценно беше WTF O.o изражението на всеки, който отвореше вратата XXD

Но дотук с офф топика - успях да направя няколко бода на Пролетта, а също така поработих и върху бискорнюто, което правя за Теди - колежката, която ми подари кексчето и ключодържателя. Нейният рожден ден е в края на седмицата

It's been some time since I last posted, and I really didn't planned it to be so! So better go straight on the points
TUSAL! THe pots of fluff are growing and mine does too, even if I don't have that much stitching time. But the end of the year can already be seen and I already have thevision of myself making more I'm-so-cheap bookmarks out of the fluff
Lately the camera tends to darken the photos and I don't know why. Sometimes it does, sometimes not, it's all on a whim XP

И отново мина доста повече време от предвиденото между този пост и последния. Така че направо по темите!
Отново дойде времето за ТУСАЛ-а! Бурканчетата с кончета се пълнят, моето също, макар и с нетолкова бързи темпове, поради липсата на време. Краят на годината вече се вижда и аз също така се виждам да правя още книгоразделители от типа I'm-so-cheap от кончетата.

Напоследък фотоапарата от време на време решава да потъмни снимките, така че се извинявам за недоброто качество на снимката (така е след редактирането и през програма)

And in the end the awesome present my sister's friends gave me. I've always wanted one of these. Whoever got the idea is a genius. On the display are now the stiched cat, and the awesome bracelets the girl from Romania, Anjahr, sent me. I don't have pretty ones made by me to display, and I just like to have them like this, as a reminder what an awesome friend she is.
И най-накрая страхотния подарък който ми направиха приятелките на сестра ми. Винаги съм искала такава дъска :)) Който се е сетил, е чиста проба гений. Сега са забучени котарака, и страхотните гривнички, които ми прати Анита (Anjahr) от Румъния. Аз сега сега нямам красиви за показване, а и искам да си ги гледкам, и да ми напомнят каква страхотна приятелка е :)

WIP Progress

First page is done!
That's one of eight! I'm as happy with the result, as I am with the process itself. It's a very pleasent stitch, and working on it I was able to watch quite some episodes of Jeeves and Wooster, and after this, Charmed.
P.S. Look, the fish up there is moving!!! XD
I also finished the celtic knot, but can't say I'm absolutely ok with the result :/. Also stitched the Kool Kat kit I recieved from Cat! Well it turned awesome, and I love it! :3 Will photo it as soon as possible!
Btw, don't know if it's because of the weather or not, but there's been real plague on my needles lately O.o I suddenly found out that two of the needles I use of the Spring project are rusted, so I had to throw them away (but in the TUSAL jar!) and all the others had darkened. True none of them was brand new, but still it was kinda sudden! Now I'm basically left with one clear needle and will have to rush to the shop for new ones.

Свърших първата страница - една от осем! Трябва да кажа, че съм доволна както от резултата, така и от самия процес :) Много приятно се работи, и успях да свърша останалите ми епизоди от Джийвс и Устър и да започна Чародейките.
П.П. - Вижте рибката горе, мърда напред!!!
Също така свърших келтския възел, но някакси не съм съвсем доволна от резултата. Завърших и "Готиния котак" (превод в опит да си предържам към небрежния правопис на оригинала), който получих от Кет :))) И който стана страхотно. Много си го харесвам и в най-близко бъдеще ще бъде сфотографиран и показан на обществеността.
И така, между другото, някаква чума е налегнала иглите ми, не знам дали заради времето, или от какво. Две от иглите, с които работех върху "Пролетта" открих, че са ръждясали, и трябваше да ги изхвърля - но в TUSAL буркана, останалите бяха потъмнели. Вярно, че никоя не беше чисто нова, но все пак доста внезапно :/ Сега на практика съм останала с една и ще трябва да тичам да си купувам нови.

Stitching update

Little bit less than one week work on the Spring in Japan has produced this:
Around 1600 needlepoints... and a have a huge showflake :D Today I worked less on it, because I started one project for the teacher
It's metal thread and it's such pain to work with it T_____T I'm not sure if it'll even turn good. But it's a celtic knot and I thought it would look awesome in gold and silver. In any case it could be use for sandpaper, or to wash the dishes XP

Една седмица (без мъничко) работа върху Японска пролет, 1600 бодчета... и си имам снежинка! Започнах да бродирам и нещичко за госпожата, но с този златен конец наистина е голяма мъка дас е работи. Дори не знам вече дали ще стане, но си помислих че този "келтски възел" ще изглежда страхотно в сребърно и златно. Във всеки случай ще може да се изпълзва за шкурка или за тел за миене на съдове - боде!

Right on the point : Phew! My exams are finally over and now I can go back to everything I've been denying myself those last months because of the studying! I have piles of books to read, movies to watch, and craft to do, lol ^___^
For now I have the results of the biology exams, and one of the chemistry. For the first university (Sofia) I have 5.50, and for the second (Varna) again 5.50. In the third one, in Pleven, I have 4.68 biology and 4.75 chemistry - oh my, I couldn't believe I have higher note on the chemisty - I thought I totally failed on this. Now I'm waiting for the rest of the results. Although 5.50 of 6.00 isn't a bad result for the biology, everything depends on the chemistry now. Well, I'll wait and see I guess.
I can go on with this theme, but I guess you're already sick of me talking only about it. One last thing - thanks to everyone, who wished me luck! (big virtual hug!)

Finally with some free time, I wasn't sure what to start with, but in the end I decided to begin with a big project. I wanted to try to stitch something bigger, and frame it. Good, but it took me some time, to chose which project exactly! I had several on wait, but in the end I picked the Japanese Spring kit I showed you in the last post. (one of the reasons for it was that it's a full kit, and I have to buy floss for the other ones)
So I started it today! :D
It's 12 squares on 9 and every square is 20x20 stitches, but it's needlepoint so it should be faster that full stitches. I usually prefer the full stitches and the aida, but almost all full kits in Bulgaria are for needlepoint (that's why I usually buy the materials separately)
But I started it today and it's so pleasent to work on it ^___^ Lol, and since it has more stitches, now I can make myslef one of those stitch counters I've seen on the blogs, yay!

Other thing I must do is clean my room >.< Put everything in order. I have to think were to put all the bio& chemistry stuff.
After the exams in the end of 7th grade for entering a high school, this is what I did with the essays I wrote through the year:
Hooray for papier-mâché! Dad has been keeping it in Varna, for five years the paint has fained a little, but I think it still looks good! ;P I wanted to do the same, but my parents told me to wait a little, lol! XD

Well, I wanted to say some other things, but as usually, have forgotten them. I guess they weren't that important anyway. Have nice summer days everyone ^___^
