It shouln't be that hard, should it?
I mean, blogging. If not regularly, then at least just blogging. At least this is what I thought in the beginning of the uni year. In November, when was the National Blog Posting month. In the beginning of the holidays now. Mmm I'd like to say that the semester was really really busy (and it was, honest!) but let's not forget the laziness, books, laziness, facebook games (and sorry for the life requests spam - and thanks), laziness, muffins (today it was rum pumpkin muffins, yay!), laziness and absolute fear of checking my mail box for real. I haven't cleaned my email box for months, just glancing over the front page of letters now and then and must have a nice pile of few thousand mails. So sorry for/if ignoring - I am really, really sorry.
Now, you see, I am such a bad blogger.Being a better one will be on the top of my New Year's resolutions list... I'll try, promise! Just don't mind the fact that I say this every year. But for the few days till the start of the New Year I will concentrate on wraping up my reading challenges on my book blog. I admit, this year my book place receive more love, mostly because I found it easier to carry a book around for between the classes, and my new tablet helped a lot for the ebooks. Still, a tiny bit of craft was done in the last months, and I will post some pics later.
So this is it for now. A big, huge thank you for all the Still alive? messages I got, and even bigger thanks and sorry for the ones I missed to read ^^"" I hope you all had a great Christmas and are preparing for awesome New Year celebration!
Hugs to all!

Topchohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00417901742040467894noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2597263763815265690.post-26929863548755445502013-08-27T06:01:00.002-07:002013-08-27T06:01:48.054-07:00Still here!Hello everyone!
Believe it or not, I am still alive and here! XD I can't belive so much time has passed since my last blog post. I was hoping to have more time during the learning practice after the exam session to craft and to blog and everything. But alas, it turned more time consuming than expected, tho I can say I am overall satisified. But I havem't been able to pick a needle -I mean sewing needle for that month :/ I compensated with reading, but still I missed my crafts.
Then, after the end of the practice, my arms really hurt for few days. I probably overworked them a little with brilliant ideas like to wash the floor at 2 am. Nothing serious but it was painful and uncomfortable to stitch.
But in the end... I was able to be bead a little! Since the theme for August on the Theme-a-licious was Thing with wings I worked a bit on the Penguins and started my Kiss kit - couldn't resist it. Here is my very small progress:
Mmm so I was just getting in the mood... and then my glassess broke. I seriously don't know HOW this happened but the result was undeniable. I was planning to go for new glasses later this year, but I just hate doing this in rush :( Anyway I have my new ones now and I'm seeing the world in HD once again!
Before getting to the "That's all, folks" part I have one more thing to add in case you are curious about my Graduation bear project. It is done, wrapped as a card and long time in Great Britain now. And I have no idea where I saved the photograph of it. Yup, I am that stupid.
Well with this said I'm finally at the folks-part. I hope to get some more done on the butterflies and I will try to post for the Theme-a-licious! Have a beautiful day, all of you :D

~~
Topchohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00417901742040467894noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2597263763815265690.post-79130230026543008952013-07-06T04:47:00.000-07:002013-07-06T04:47:06.553-07:00Oh my, an unsheduled post, that is!Hello everyone! I hope you are all good and enjoying the summer! First let me say a big thanks to all of you taking your time and checking my blog and commenting while I was gone! I have only one more left, next Friday and I so so so hope it will go well, because it's the hardest one from this session, and being last doesn't really help. And then I will proceed checking my Feedly (so long, Google Reader. Now it's official) - it's a bit scary just thinking of it, I bet it will be more loaded than my email when I checked it, lol!

Anyway, I did some crafting and reading during the session till now, because else I'd go nuts. So now it's report time! Themealicious report time!

This year June was again Jumanji. I announced that I will try to work on the beaded penguins, and quite surprisingly, I did. My mom also asked me to make something for a friend's daughter who is graduating and we agreed on a Margaret Sherry's Archie Bear. being a bear, it's an animal too, so it counts!

Just few rows on Penguins, one of the bad things with stamped images is that progress doesn't show as much as when you're working on blank canvas.
The theme for this month is
Jubilee July

It's time to celebrate! What are you celebrating this year?
Stitch on your holiday-related projects, OR find some WIPs you know
you'll never finish and set them free.

I will go on with Archie - I have to finish it till 15th, and graduating is most def a cause for celebration. I may aslo pick the Hogfather along the way

Also, earlier in June, Lynn (aka The Grumbling Gargoyle) let me know she has received her little package. She likes pidgeons and writes beautiful dark poetry, and I also wanted to manage something related to the 12 days/Young 80 stories, so this is waht she got
I'm so glad she liked her little present!

Well, this is for now! If I'm luck, I will report on 15th with no exams and a finished Archie!
have a fund and stitchy week everyone!

~~~~
Може и да не ви се вярва, но след цял месец от предварително написани постове, ето един съвсем новичък! Първо едно голямо благодаря на всички, които продължаваха да надничат и да коментират. На мен ми остава още само един изпит - другия петък, и ако всичко мине добре, след това се завръщам в света на живите блогъри. Фийдлито ме чака (сбогом Гугъл Рийдър. Вече официално), което е малко страшничко, защото си представям, че се пръска по шевовете, както и електронната пощенска кутия, когато най-сетне я проверих.
Във всеки случай, между четенето за изпитите досега, все пак поработих и почетох, защото иначе мозъкът ми съвсем щеше да си стегне багажа и да замине. То той и сега е на стадий "колелото се върти, но хамстера умря".
Във всеки случай е време за доклад по Темалишъс! Темата за юни беше Джуманджи - в превод животинки всякакви. Като чуе човек Джуманджи, обикновено си представя амазонски джунгли, и Робин Уилямс, естествено, но аз се заех с два по-други животински вида. Бях планирала да поработя върху Пингвините, и доста учудващо, го направих. Макар че прогресът не си личи чак толкова. Едно от лошите качества на щампите е, че напредъкът не се набива на очи така, както когато работиш върху чисто поле.
Освен това мама ме помоли да направя нещо за дъщерята на колега, която се дипломира. Спряхме се на Мечока Арчи на Маргарет Шери, който, въпреки че е академичен, също е живинка, и съответно става за Темалишъса.
Темата за Юли е Юбилей - или разтълкувано, разни неща за празнуване. Със сигурност значи ще продължа с Арчи, едно защото трябва да го свърша до 15, и второ - дипломирането със сигурност е повод за празнуване. Ако остане време, ще видя какво прави Дядо Прас.
И последно преди да се оттегля в света на мъртвите хамстери, Лин (Гаргойлът) ми изпрати съобщение, че си е получила малкото пакетче, което ѝ пратих. Лин обича гълъби и пише красиви, по гаргойлски мрачни стихове. Освен това исках подаръчето да е свързано с историите на Марджи 12 дни /Млади 80. Мисля, че се получи, а също така и че ѝ харесаха, за което много се радвам.
И с това приключвам отчета за свършеното миналия месец. Ако имам късмет, ще докладвам пак на 15, със завършен Арчи, и с никакви изпити повече :)
Some months ago I showed you a folder I decorated and promised that I'll be making some more. And yup, here they are! These are simpler, don't have a cover basically just a piece of cardboard with a snap. I like how the purple one turned, non of the photos got the colour quite right, but it's a lovely purple and I'm so happy I was able to mix the right colour. With the second I decided to be a little bit more adeventures with the paints, and it didn't turn that well. It's the same on both sides, so only one photo for the ponies
Преди няколко месеца се похвалих с обновената си папчица и се зарекох, че експериментът ще бъде повторен. Речено - сторено - намацах още две. Тези са по-простички, общо взето парче картон с щипка. Визуално предишната с маковете определно ми е фаворит, но и тези не са съвсем зле, особено лилавата. Успях да ѝ докарам цвета на боята точно като този на салфетката, макар че нито една от снимките не го показва точно. С втората пък, реших да поекспериментирам с боядисването, резултат от което е не особено успешен, но болезнено видим. Понитата са еднакви и от двете страни, така че си заслужиха само една снимка :)Topchohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00417901742040467894noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2597263763815265690.post-32097658496527346222013-06-21T14:37:00.000-07:002013-06-21T14:37:00.306-07:00The art of flower making without setting anything on fireSo... back in March I suddenly decided I want to learn how to make fabric flowers by flaming the tissue with a candle. The idea was to make some and give them away for Woman's day. Well I didn't go that far and made a total of three. And later, while painting my folders, I just decided to paint an empty candy box too - because when doing painting and decoupage, you better do them all at once, since the brushes are such a pain to wash, lol.
I didn't set anything on fire, though it turned that the pink fabric I picked wasn't the melting type, but the burning. Still no casualties! Btw, the candle was smelled of sweet cherries, and so did the flowers!
Pictures are really dull, but here's a flower and box for you:
Някъде през март реших, че искам да се науча да правя цветя от плат, като ги обгарям със свещ. Идеята беше да направя купчина, и да ги раздам за осми март. Идеята не напредна много, защото направих в крайна сметка само три, едното от които загубих. После, докато си боядисвах папките, награбих и една метална кутия от бонбони за смучене, и намазах и нея. Когато човек тръгне да боядисва и лакира, просто не си струва да е само един предмет - четките толкова мъчно се чистят, че по-добре да наклепаш повечко неща, за да си струва чистенето.
Между другото, при манипулациите със свещта жертви нямаше, въпреки че се оказа, че розовият плат, който бях избрала е от горящите, а не от топящите се. Но свещта беше с много сладък черешов аромат, който се пренесе и на цветята :)
Beady penguins are my most likely pick for Jumanjee June, but knowing myslef, chances are that by the end of the month I'll show up with an entirely new specimen from the animal kingdom.
This project is the easiest thing I have right now, and the speediest one, so would be the natural choice. However, I'm not all that happy with results and quality and once I'm done with the penguins and the bears stamp, I will probably go on only with the Ukrainian kits when it comes to beading.
But till then, I think I haven't shown you this picture, so enjoy, smile and wave! :D
Нагласих този пост да излезе наяве на 15 юни, когато е и датата за средномесечната сбирка на Темълишъс, който за този месец е посветен на всякакви животинки. Обаче това всъщност не е истински отчетен пост, защото тази снимка показва напредъка ми само до началото на юни. Пингвините са най-вероятния заподозрян за юнски проект по Темалишъс, защото са най-бързото и лесно нещо, което имам в момента. Макар че не съм чак толкова доволна от откъм външен вид и качество, поне откъм бързина го докарват - но след като направя пингвините и мечките, ще си остана на Украинските комплекти, поне относно мънистата.
Та, въпреки че Пингвините са най-вероятният избор, като се знам колко ме бива със следването на планове, шанс има в края на месеца за истинския отчет да цъфна с някой съвсем нов представител на фауната под ръка. Но дотогава - усмихвайте се и махайте, момчета, усмихвайте се и махайте :D
Well I recieved this shortly after, so with some delay, I just have to share the yumminess and the sparkliness and the awesomeness ( and I'm pretty sure I won't find those words in the dictionary)
After finishing the Moon Castle, I immediately ordered the other piece in the series (I call it Butterfly series, although it's not official), The Kiss! And while browsing the site, I saw - oh my god, the joy! - a Randal dragon! By now it's obvious that I love these, but the size has always creeped me out, lol. But partial stitching with beads - that would be done in a breeze compared to a haed!
Of course, I can't start those yummies now. No, no. But I can still open them XD
Yummy, yummy, yummy! And soft. The fabric is so nice and soft. I think I will be sticking with this kits from now on. Btw I had some people asking me about the partial beading kits. Those up here and the Moon Castle are designs/made by Charivna Mit, and the other beaded fairy I work on is from Abris Art. Both are Ukrainian firms. I don't know of UK/USA brands making such kits, but I'm pretty sure there are. Honestly, I just didn't search much, because it's easier for me to order these.
And this time, the woman who delivers slipped in my bag some extra goodies! Callendars, an Ukrainian magnet and a mini stamped image with a kitty!
Now I just have to pass my exams so I can add those all to my wips! XD
~~~~

So the theme for May was monochrome... pretty hard task! Well to make it easier, the actual rule was the following:

Monochrome May

Pick a color, any color, then stitch only on projects that contain that color for the month!

My initial plan was to pick blue and work on Spring and on Howl. But I'm oh-so-good with plans. In the end I picked... yellow. I myself was surprized by it.

As I confessed last time, I gave in and not only bought a pack of Randal dragon charts, but even started one. This particular start has those huge chunks of colour, you won't say it's a Haed, lol!

The first rows were done in the last week of april while the rest in May - I forgot to take more wip photos so I have only one to show you, as it is right now:

And this is how it should look (someday)

I honestly don't now if this counts, but I barely stitched anything else in May :D

So let's move on
Jumanji June

Is it a jungle out there in your stash? Give some love to the projects with animals or birds.

Hm, animals and birds. Well, the suspects this time would be the beaded penguins, the Bathing day with the plushies (plush animals should count!) and I guess the dragon too. But there won't be as much stitching in June as I might wanted, because I'm starting my exam session now. I've sheduled some posts with crafts and stuff I've done from March till now that I just forgot showing, so at least there will be something happening here! And I will try to check blogs now and then. These last weeks I've been bulk reading everything in my Feedly once a week, and commenting rather randomly. So sorry to anyone whom I missed commenting! I really love seeing all of your works and read all about crafts and books and life, and I promise to get back to active commenting once the exams are over!

This is for now :) Wish me luck!
~~~~
Предизвикателството за май беше... монохром. Доста трудничко, поне за мен! За да улесни участниците, Хедър беше предложила следното тълкувание "Изберете един цвят и шийте само по проекти, които го съдържат". Е, така... горе-долу го докарах XD
Първоначалният ми план беше този цвят да е синьо и съответно да работя по Пролетта и по Хоул. Обаче вместо синьо... излезе жълто.
В началото на май се похвалих/оплаках, че по време на разпродажбата на Хаед не можах да устоя и си взех комплекта книги с дракони на Рандъл Спанглър. Също така си признах, че се поддадох и започнах първата от поредицата "История на шоколада: любовна история". Тази схема съдържа доста големи блокове от цветове, почти невероятно за Хаед и затова се шие доста лесно и бързо. Също така съдържа доста жълто-златно... и това се превърна в моя цвят за месеца.
Не съм сигурна, дали се брои, но докато надничах по блоговете, открих и други доста по-заобиколни тълкувания на темата, тъй че мисля, че става :D
Темата за юни пък е Джуманджи :D Още не сме си отдъхнали от Амазонския април, и хайде пак в джунглата. Този път условието е различно - проекти с птици и животни. Заподозрените в случая ще са мънистените пингвини, Ден за баня (плюшките се броят!) и драконът. Но за съжаление, през юни няма - или поне не би трябвало - да има значителен прогрес, защото сесията ми започва. Насрочих няколко поста с неща, които съм правила от март насам, но така и не съм постнала, така че поне тук в блога ще се случва нещо :) Четенето и коментирането също ще пробвам да не зарязвам - или поне не повече, отколкото в момента. И сега я карам на едноседмична проверка на фийдлито и случайни коментирания на постове. Затова се извинявам на хората, чиито постове съм пропуснала да коментирам. Винаги ми е интересно да чета и за произведенията и за книгите и за всичко останало :) И се надявам скоро да мога да реванширам!
I finally was able to got the kit from the post! XD Now, my darlings, this year I spared you of book review, but what about a cross stitch kit review, lol?
As I announced in the title, it's pretty clear that what I got today was a Yiota's stitch (yiotas-xstitch.com) kit. This is a business based in UK, and on their site they offer a great diversity of cross stitched patterns. Fantasy fan - you're covered. More of a Jane Austin girl - Mr Darcy's waiting for you. Something classy and victorian, or a funky style patterns, you can find it :D I can go on and on, but I want to mention one thing I noticed while browsing the site, that made a really good impression - how international friendly it is. I don't know if it happened to you, but i hate the feeling when I really love something somewhere, and they don't ship to my country (or alternatively - whenever I want to feel out of this world, I can spend 15 min on youtube and you bet I'l get a video that can't be played, because obviously I live in Narnia or somewhere of its neibourhood) Anyway, not only their shop ships everywhere, but for a first time I saw on a cross stitch site a handy currency checker, that has I think every currency on the world (not only dollars/euro/pounds) and it is very useful to be able to check how exactly something would cost you. Also, you have a lot of freedom when choosing - you can get a whole kit, a printed chart, or e-mailed chart; pick aida or evenwave, use DMC or Madeira. I was thinking, that in order all to be super cool, it'd be nice if number of threads was listed along with the chart info. I've seen this on some places, and think it's really useful. One, you can really judge how difficult a pattern will be (a rather big piece with less colours can prove easier than a smaller one full of confetti), and two, if you're aware of the colours needed, it will be easier to decide if you want the whole kit, or you have supplies for it and need just the pattern
After a long time spent on the Yiota's stitch site, and falling in love with Erin Ewer's art, I finally picked one chart, called Black Orchid. I think this fairy kinda looks like my SP, they might be related, lol! And this is what I recieved today!
Ain't she a pretty, too?
It was packed in a sturdy solid envelope with a "Don't bend" sign on the top. And when I say solid, I mean it, probably even if they were to try and bend it, they wouldn't succeed, even my greedy hands couldn'd when I grabbed it after waiting the whole weekend! XD
Inside it was packed in a clear bag, containing the pattern, fabric, needle. threads and a picture of the craft. The picture is how the finished cross stitch would look, not the orginal artwork. It is also presented with the "real stitches"option if I'm not mistaken. if you've used a pattern viewer program, then maybe you know that a patter can be previewed with colour squares or with little crosses, for more realistic look.
The pattern itself is printed on two A3 sheets. I am usually a fan of the A4, mostly because of the satisfaction you feel when you finish a page. But they are not that big and too hard to handle (someday I should show you how pattern in magazines come here XD) It's printed on a high quality paper, not ordinary printer paper (that can be bad, because colours can bleed through, depending on how you mark your stitches), but it's not too glossy either (which is also not nice, because light can shine and make it difficult to see, and it's harder to mark the stitched with colour pencils). Only whole stitches are used and the symbols are cgosen wisely. There aren't any similar symbols, so no danger to mess colours. Also, bolder symbols are used for darker shades, and you can actually see the picture when you look at the pattern, and not just a bunch of signs.
I could choose between aida 14, 16 and evenwave, and choose aida 16. the piece is nice and huge, more than enough to make every framer happy, and with a needle pinned in one of the sides. Thank God, it wasn't sharp. I just don't now why sometimes they add sharp sewing needles in cross stitch kit. I for one don't like blood on my stitching.
There is a set of instructions, where everything is nicely explained. When reading it, I had the feeling I'm actually communicating with someone, or reading a blog, lol it was fun to read about those little hands and paws! :D And, even if I don't think of myself as a newbie stitched anymore, there were some useful tricks - I've never thought of using paper tissue like reccomended, but I will give it a try!
Oh, and the thread. Bobbins. Yay for the bobbins! This is by far my most prefered way of storing my thread. I don't like the thread organizers of the type that comes with Dimensions for example. The truth is in the bobbins. The floss used is Madeira, I've stitched with it only once before, but really liked it, The colours are rich, and it is easy and pleasent to work with. DMC alternatives are also given.
One tiny little thing I noticed, that is not a big of mistake, but on the kit cover, the size of the pattern is not given correctly in stitches, and this messes up the other mesurements in inches too. This more of a not, because the fabric is more than enough, no need to worry about it, and when you open the pattern, you can see the exact side.
So, in conclusion, a pretty art, turned into a nice pattern, and in a kit with everything you need to start stitching right away.
Erm.
Well.
And so this is what I did, Buuut, I've been waiting whole weekend for it, and thinking of it, and so on! So this evening I grabbed my soluble pen and charted the fabric, and put a couple of stitches!
And so, here comes my third start this month. Doctor, how bad it is XD
I think that instead in Christmas in July, I'm making a Crazy January in May. Ah, anyway. A girl deserves some fun, especially given that the exam session is drawing closer, and I won't have much time for craft then.
This week I'll be having another package to show you - with beads! But I promise, I won't be starting it! Yet. XD
I hope the week started good for all of you!Topchohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00417901742040467894noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2597263763815265690.post-23977222276961326502013-05-11T16:10:00.002-07:002013-05-11T16:10:51.598-07:00Beady stuffAaah, I missed the working hours of the post office today again! How lame is that >.< I just hate the thought that my packages are in the city, and yet I have to wait till monday to get them. Ah, but they will be pretties, and I can't wait to brag about them , lol.
Well until I can actually show them to you, here is some beading progress:
What, a new start? Guilty as charged. I think I'm beyond salvation now. The diagnose is: a serial starter.
Note on the penguins - it's very speedy to work, but I def prefer the kits with only partial beading, like the Fairy, or the castle. And I'm not happy with the quality of beads here. I can hardly find two beads of the same size and shape. It's not that visible, once they are pressed all together, but it's annoying to work nevertheless. I'm def sticking with my Ukrainian kits from now on, even though these stamped ones are far cheaper.
Topchohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00417901742040467894noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2597263763815265690.post-51837993265134209642013-05-10T15:22:00.001-07:002013-05-10T15:22:37.075-07:00Theme-a-licious May Hello there! I keep dissappearing, but you should be all used to it, lol XD Now let's get straight to things!
For the Amazon April wrap up, I don't have much more to add since the check in post. I haven't stitched more on the SP Fairy, and the reason for this is... the Haed sale. Actually, I susally am quite good at restraining myself during those sales, but this time I saw the whole collection of Randal Spangler's Books of dreams, and I just couldn't resist. Besides, it was like 11 patterns for the price of 2 or 3!
Eeer, and as you can guess, greedy me has started the first Book right away. I actually managed quite some, but I couldn't take a picture and will show you only after the 24th of May, after I go home again. But even before then I hope I can show you something more related to those adorable dragons!
As for the May theme...
Monochrome May
Pick a color, any color, then stitch only on projects that contain that color for the month!
I think it's the hardest one so far! I still can't make up my mind, but I will probably go with blue. I use the same shade of blue for the sky on Spting, and on Howl, so that would be a good excuse to work on them!
Yawn, only 1,30 past midinght, and I'm already sleepy, how unusual for me :) I hope that tomorrow I can shoe you some beading stuff, and some of the Postman files!
Phew! How are you doing in Amazon? Finding your way?
For Amazon April, I naturally picked the Steam punk fairy. Thanks to you all who commented on her and said they'd be waiting for an update! This time around I grabbed the pinks and purples, and worked on the ribbon - it was a nice change from all the shades of brown that are used in this project!
Next weekend, I am hoping to have some time to dedicate to my Spring. And some time to comment more >.<
Фю, за малко да се изгубя из дебрите на Амазонския април :) Но все пак се ориентирах, грабнах розовите и лилавите конци, и отделих малко време на Стийм Пънк феята, и по-точно на панделката ѝ. Определено беше по-забавно да я шия, отколкото десетките нюанси на кафяво, с които е изпъстрен този проект!
Следващият уикенд се надявам да ми остане малко време за Пролетта. И малко време за коментиране.Topchohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00417901742040467894noreply@blogger.com16tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2597263763815265690.post-65416186334678309712013-04-12T10:56:00.002-07:002013-04-12T10:56:37.822-07:00Oops!I think I confused you with me last post XD My bday was two months ago, it's just that the orders I placed with the money I recieved back then started arrivng lately! But thanks for all the wishes :D They always make me happy, lol!
Anyway, to post something, here is a picture of a wip of the ornament I'm making for the winner of Kate's giveaway. I decided on Two turtle doves, because... flying turtles. I was really eager for the BAZINGA! dragon ornaent. but thought that mabe it won't suit the winner's taste. So, mr winner, I hope you like turtles! It's almost done now. I stitched a bit after making the photo, but it's not completed yet/
Упс! Май ви обърках с последния пост XD Рожденият ми ден беше през февруари, просто нещата, които си поръчаха тогава по този случай, чак сега започнаха да пристигат. Но благодаря за пожеланията! :D
ИНаче, за да не е съвсем празна тази публикация, ето една снимка как върви подаръчето за победителя от томболата на Кейт. Тя ме остави сама да избирам какво да ушия, и се спрях на летящите костенурки. Реших, че БАЗИНГА-та, може и да не е по вкуса на всеки. Така че, надявам се на победителя поне да му харесат костенурките!Topchohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00417901742040467894noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2597263763815265690.post-50983620573710821002013-04-11T13:55:00.001-07:002013-04-11T13:55:49.703-07:00Poppies"You look so bright today. "And my hairpirce is suiting the handbag :P "
"And what about the poppies?"
*me thinking* "They are for the giraffes to see if they will get high"
I've been feeling yellow this month. So I decided to grab a brush and decoupage some! My victim became a folder, that was plain ugly and black, and after applying some make up, it turned into...
Looking good, right? I so love the result! The inside is not covered so well, as I ran out of yellow paint. I'm so doing this with the rest of my folders! Oh, I already have some paper tissues in mind :)
But one thing I need to fix - the paint is steady everywhere, execpt for the edge, where is the folding. I did this about 10 days ago and using it every day in Uni since then, and now the paint on the fold is starting to fall. I wonder how to prevent it :/ I painted the folder as it was open - maybe next time I will do so when it's closed and see how it works.
Btw, you can see my sheep box in the last picture! (I got it from a Happy meal last month. Can't resist a sheep)
Oh, and if you're wondering about the little conversation in the beginning of the post, it was between me and a collegue last Friday morning - featuring giraffes too!
The scarf my mom got me for my bday and a bag I bought lately. Love!
Dislamer! No giraffes were harmed or suffered from anything as a result from eating poppies. Actually, no poppies were eaten.
Mentioning my bday, some of the orders I placed around my burthday started coming - finally! Yesterday I picked two Anchor stamped images - they didn't have them on stock so I had to wait for them for quite some time. As you can see, they are both winter themed - but well, it was winter back then! I tried working on a stamped image only once and didn't like it much, but I am willing to give it a try again. I asked the stams to be kitted with beads instead of thread. I've seen the results, and they are quite lovely. Not as much as the partially beaded pictures, but pretty anyway, and more than twice or trice cheaper too! I have some kits too (including the Kiss I posted about when framing the Castle) I hope they arrive soon!
"Много си пролетна днес. Блузата ти отива на пантофките."
"А диадемата ми отива на чантата :P"
"А цветята на какво отиват?"
*мисля* "Те са да видим дали жирафите ще ги изядат и ще се надрусат"
Не се безпокойте! Никакви жирафи не пострадаха след този разговор, проведен в петък сутринта между мен и една колежка ;) Той се отнасяше за папката ми с макове и облеклото ми, макар че точно в онзи момент цялата ми армия от жирафи беше останала в съблекалните.
От началото на месеца ми беше едно жълто... Затова хванах четка и боичка, и лакче и салфетка, и хубаво префасонирах една стара, черна, и общо взето грозна папка, докато стана жълта и макова. И честно казано, влюбих се в резултата! Вече даже планирам как да обработя всичките си останали папки, и съм си набелязала салфетки даже. Само едно нещо има, което ми прави проблем - навсякъде боята е хванала здраво, само на сгъвката започна да се лющи. Та в момента размишлявам как и дали може да се избегне това. Тази папка боядисах преди десетина дни, и го правих, докато тя беше разгъната. Така и съхна. Мисля си следващия път да опитам, докато е сгъната. Може би така, след като изсъхне в друго положение боята, няма да бъде подложена на толкова напрежение :/
Започнаха да ми пристигат и разните поръчки, с които се разглезих покрай рождения си ден. Вчера си прибрах две щампи на Анхор - нямаше ги тогава в наличност и трябваше да чакам да ги доставят, и тя се проточи. Но най-накрая дойдоха:) На зимна тематика са, и малко странно изглеждат предвеликденско - но тогава си беше зима, и още как. Досега веднъж само съм се опитвала да работя по щампа, и в крайна сметка се отказах, но реших да пробвам пак. Помолих да ми ги комплектоват с мъниста, а не с конци. Виждала съм как изглежда подобна щампа, изпълнена с мъниста, и резултатът е доста симпатичен. Е, не е чак толкова изящен като частично бродираните изображения, но пак е доста готино, пък и този вариант е два-три пъти по-евтин. Иначе, и някои комплекти има да пристигат. Другарчето на Замъка - Целувката, е един от тях :)
Хубав петък на всички!Topchohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00417901742040467894noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2597263763815265690.post-13022868442095122012013-04-03T13:34:00.003-07:002013-04-03T13:34:44.583-07:00March Madness wrap up
Hello there!
March has been a really stitchy month for me, and I ended up not only covering my "mad"goals, but actually stitching much more than usual. I guess this is madness for me XD Let's see what my plan was and what I got done:
Round 1 - Work with
*full crosses - yes, on Bath day, Hogfather, Oregano, Steam punk fairy and Howl
*half cross/ tent stitch - Spring in Japan
*beads - Amethysit
*backstitch /special stitches - back stitching on Oregano
To do for the rest of the month - beads on Amethyst and tent stitch on Spring
Round 2
*finish something (yes little birdie project, I'm looking at you...) -
yup! Oh my, a finish! Just the little plant poke, but still
*start something - in honour of DWJ March, and simply because I like the pattern - Howl and Sophie
Round 3 - Work on every of my current wips, even if it's just few stitches
*Spring in Japan
*Steam punk fairy
*Hogfather
*Amethyst
*Bath day
*Oregano-hummingbird
And now for the progress in pictures! Since last time I posted pics, I worked more on the Steam punk fairy, and I started beading up the frame around Amethyst.
I reall love working on the frame, even more than the dress! And now, just a reminder of how the rest of the projects were going, just for the report to be full:
The theme for April is Amazon - all those big big projects. I will probably stitch on Spring while I'm at Uni town and on Steam punk while at home. I also will be stitching dragons, but I still don't know who the winner of Kate;s giveaway is and her/his choice of ornament.
And last, sorry I missed to wish you Happy Easter! This year there is a whole month difference between Easters, ans this fact mostly slipped my mind >.< I hope you had great time! I will be playing catch up this weekend and leaving belated wishes, lol!
~~~

Надявам се да са си прекарали много добре, а със страхотното време последните дни, съм почти сигурна, че за всички е било така :) Topchohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00417901742040467894noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2597263763815265690.post-63577188991269687122013-03-27T15:00:00.003-07:002013-03-27T15:05:56.244-07:00BlueI think I should have saved all that blue for Monochrome May, but then again, there is MOAR where this came from. There seems to actually be a reason why the Maia kit of the same picture is with blue aida. Anyway, at least I cought up on half of the second season of Stargate SG1 on saturday while stitching this.
Now, for the days left of March, I'll be trying to bead a little on my Fairy. I think I am going to clear my goals for the March Madness, yay!
Oh, and just one more note - don't forget to get yourself entered in Kate's giveaway! It will contain a lot's of yummy things + one little prize donated by me - Winner's favourtite day of Christmas out of theDragon dreams (yes, I am using this as an excuse to stitch one of them, after seeing the little dragons Jo is making!). So go and comment! :)

Title: 12 days/Young 80
Author: Marjie Myers

I was lucky to read these two short novels thanks to the Pasty tour, organized by the author. When I saw that there were free slots for blog tour hosts, I jumped right in :D I read Marjie (a.k.a. Kate from the Suddenly Kate Show) writings, and I have to say I find them entertaining and moving too, so not even for a moment I was worried that I might be dissappointed.

A bit info for the stories.

Even before I started reading the book, I was sure that it would be the "sweet" part of the book that would please me more - well, I do have a sweet tooth! The 12 days were indeed sweet, heartwarming and funny. The story follows the attempts of Ryan, our rather clumsy - especially when it comes to romance - male lead, trying to propose to his girlfriend, Sarah. He has the idea of putting a little something everyday, followng the old Christmas song... but oh well - the results are not always as predicted!

I had tons of fun with Ryan! From day one to the last, his ideas - and the outcomes, never seized to make me laugh hard. If you make me pick one day to be my favourite, I will have a really hard time, but I may pick day nine with the job vouchers Now this may come handy!

At first, I didn't like how the characters just popped up like this - and then - "let's get married"! I was afraid we won't get to know more of their background, and I am a sucker for this. But as the story went on, bits of the past of the charaters were revealed, through the photos, or memories, or talk, and it all blended in very nicely.

However, Ryan did one. thing. I. can't. forgive. He went watching Hobbit without Sarah! Woooah, boy, that's not how we do this!

In short, 12 days was a great cute read. The story flowed nicely, and was very easy to read. Form the beginning to the end, there were lot of little surprises to enrich the story, bit no major commotion - even with the accident in the end, because I was sure of the happy ending.

So I finished 12 days, sure that this will be my favourite half of the book. But, Young 80 cought me by surprise!

Young 80 is the horror story in the book. It is my prefered type of horror - I am not fan of the gore thing. I really like the gothic style of horror more - with creepy noises, shadows and more. This is exactly it. The short story follows Anna on her way home... however... she won't really reach it.
While the first story is set in Christmas time, the second is set on Halloween eve. The beginning is a bit lighter than the rest, and I had that really cute vision of the Frankenstein's bride munching fries in her ketchup blooded wedding dress. I really loved this moment, it was so cute, and somehow after this things went wrong for poor Anna.
Young 80 got me, because all the time, I had no idea what was going to happen. All that wasleft for me was to follow Anna's steps. Till the very ending, I was hoping for a happy resolution (sob sob! Where is my happy ending T____T), and you know, I still do! I think this story has potential of becoming more than a short novel. Anna didn't strike me as the type to just give up so easily. All that time, she kept walking, she kept trying, she kept fighting.
But I guess, a happy ending would take some of the strenght of the story. Because the ending was really strong, with that "making sure that nothing is left behind" - it really gave me chills.
Beside from a happy ending (but as i said, for the sake of the story, I am ready to give up on that), I would really like to know more about the villain here, about here motifs and her goals, and methods and everything.

Overall, I really enjoyed both stories, and I give the book 4 stars of 5.

If the stories have interested you too, try them:
Заглавие: 12 дни/Млади 80
Автор: Марджи Майърс

Имах щастието да прочета тази книжка, съдържаща две кратки новели,
благодарение на Пирожената обиколка, организирана от авторката. Марджи
(което всъщност е псевдоним на Кейт, от блога The suddenly Kate show ) е

Hello everyone! Remember when I told you that a show will be visiting? Well, the time has come! Today, 25th, is my stop of the Pasty tour! Maybe you came here following all the other blogs in the tour, maybe not - but now, gather closely, because I'm going to present you the author!

Let me hear you scream for Kate from The suddenly Kate Show, also known as the author Marjie Myers! Maybe you know Kate via her stitchings and crafts, or her music reviews, or her own writings - like you can see, she is one talanted girl! In case this is your first time hearing of this young lady, I suggest you go go go to her place and pay a nice and long visit (after reading this post till the end of course).

So, Kate is not only a crafter, but an author too. I am here to talk to you about her brand new shiny e-book, but I just have to mention her on going series that you can read on her blog - Girl's best friend. It is never too late to go and start following the adventures of Millie, who is a great character by the way - and in a great setting too.

But now for the interview. Maybe you have already read the ones on the blogs on the tour before me. They were all great interviews - and I mean GREAT! They had pidgeons, and mooses (if this is the correct plurial) and I think even sheep. So I was at total loss what questions to ask, when Kate came with the brilliant idea to interview the characters. This is how you got not one, but 3 interviews - with one character from each story, and the author herself.

Oh, but maybe I should tell you bit about the book first!

First comes my interview with Ryan, the main character from 12 days (questions in bold, answers - in normal font and my reaction to the answer - in italic

So, Ryan... you're known not to be the most romantic person... why did you decide to organize the whole "12 days" thing?I
love Sarah so much and I see how others do romantic things and it is
always something she tells me about, I guess I wanted her to know that I
would do those things for her and also that she didnt need to be giving
up on romance by being with me.

I knew I wanted to propose at christmas time as it in itself is quite a romantic month.

That was really cute and thoughtful of you! You sure gave her lots to tell about :)

Do you believe that romantic gestures are a genuine part of every relationship?
I do, but I do believe that they dont necessarily have to be
traditionally romantic gestures. Most things can be considered romantic
if they're with the one you love.

Now you said it! You just couldn't be more right. And you came up with some really untraditional romantic gestures too!

What was your favourite day to plan... and what day turned the best in the end?
Day 1 was my favourite day to plan because it was at home and I
could relax a bit. The day that turned out the best was the charm
bracelet I think, Sarah was really happy with it.

I think my favourite was day nine... by the way, if you happen again in a crisis like in day four... please call me :)

How did you feel when you heard what happened to Sarah?

You want me to put that into words?....erm...I felt like I was in a
lift and all of a sudden it was falling and I had no control over it.

I can imagine the shock! You still were able to keep your cool... You really were great in the end

And finally - how was the wedding? :)

Wedding...ha...we havent set a date yet, Sarah took
longer than expected to recover and we have not been in any rush, but
when she is ready she will let me know!

I am quite curious about what you will come up with for the wedding! No horses I guess, but maybe some pidgeons? I know some people who would enjoy the pidgeons.

~~~~~~
I hope you enjoyed this little interview with Ryan! Did it sparkle your interest? I bet! Read 12 days to firn out everything that happend with him and Sarah!
And now for the interview with the character from the second story, Young 80. It is quite short, because the person was quite scary, and I like my body as it is, thank you very much.
Why, oh why? Why did you do this. You're being evil and mean, you know.
Ha...hahhahaha....muahahahah!...and I did it....because I could...and I can,
And here I thought you would come up with something about the greater good or stuff! Ok, you're honest, but you're still creepy and mean.
Caring to share how you made it? Magic? Science?
I could never reveal my secrets...lets just say...I used whatever I
had access to and then I experimented several times until I got it
right.
Oh dear! So that would mean there are more victims! I wonder how long this has been going on.
Do you believe it's all over now? What if
Anna tries to get back what was taken from her? What if her boyfriend
figures out the fraud?
That fool?! He won't. As long as her boyfriend never knows then she wont be able to.
Squee!! Anna, don't give up, girl! Fight, fight!
~~~~

Brrr, ok, this gave me the creeps! What about you? Anna really had hard times at Young 80...

And finally, few questiond for the author herself! Well, not all of them are very original, and some were in a sense asked before, but I really wanted to ask them myself! It's not everyday I can ask questions like this (usually I ask "So sir, what has lead you to the hospital" or something along the lines)

First, I must ask... sweet or sour?

Sweeeeet! Chocolate preferably. But if books then sour.

In chocolate lays the truth :) Especially when it's with filling.

I
know most of the interesting things have already been asked to you
during the tour, but I'm pretty curious about some details of your
creative process. Do you build the whole story in your head (characters,
story lines, ending) before you start writing, or you create it on the
go?
I create on the go, sometimes from a prompt or an idea but usually
just as I go. My sister always asks e what is going to happen next as if
I know! I never do. So when there is a part for instance, in my current
online series where it stops at a crucial point, I also don't know
until the next week. It was the same with the stories. Although, endings
you do have to plan in advance to some extent.

I think this is really cool. The twists in your stories always got me.

Do you have some kind of writing routine - like writing for a
certain amount of time, or managing a certain number of words
daily/weekly?

The only time I did
that was for NaNoWriMo and the novel. I do write daily out of desire as
opposed to a strict schedule. But it is daily and is definitely a
habit. If I don't have something to write about I feel a little lost. I
am hoping to get a schedule sorted due to the podcast (post coming soon)
and I think I will have to allocate myself some writing time.

Now this is even cooler. I try setting myslef a certain goal of words for everyday in order to keep up with writing blog posts and writing series for a forum, but I fail kinda miserably. So your habit of daily writing is awesome!

Before you decided to publish, did you make any changes? Do you go
through lost of redactions (self readcting or with the help of
friends/family/ beta readers)?

I
made some changes and tweaks but not to the main story. I had the help
of a friend. For the novel I think the process may be more rigorous.

Sometimes firsts are best! I can't wait to hear more about your novel. The preview in the end of the ebook was really intriguing
You participate regularly in different writing prompts.. which one is your favourite?

I have spates of regularly participating and then nothing, but I do like Five Sentence Fiction.

I love those most too! It's really awesome how you can come up with a story on just 5 sentences.

And since you're crafter too, and I get double and
triple happy when I find an author - crafter - does craft gets in the
way now, or is it helping your creative process?I find that
writing is getting in the way of my crafting because obvious I need to
use my hands. Its very frustrating but again I am trying to get a
schedule so that nothing gets sacrificed. I love to craft and I am
missing it at the moment. I am moving soon so hopefully after all that
upheaval I will settle into a new routine.

Mmm, I hope you find some time! I love your crafts!
Now when the tour is almost over, are you happy with the outcome?

I
am not sure what the outcome is or was, I guess it was never to sell
loads of copies, but I did want to widen my audience and as to whether
that has happened I don't know. It has sparked my podcast desire and I
have started the wheels in motion on that and booked interviews with
musicians and writers already so that is a great outcome too. The only
thing I wish is if more people had read it so they could give feedback
but from those who have I have had nice things said and I can't ask for
more than that really.

Well, the toud might be coming to an end, but actually all is just in the beginning! Your new novel, the new podcast show with writers and musicians, and I bet there is more. Def worth keeping an eye on Marjie Myers, don't you all think!

I hope you enjoyed those interviews! My review on Marjie Mayer's book will be out shortly (I thought in one post it would be just suuuper long), but before I hit the publish button there are few more things I should add. Did you guess it right - links!

Oh! And the most important thing! Kate is having a giveaway! What could be more awesome than a secret pack of goodies! I have some guesses on what could be in, but I will share only one. Because it's not a guess XD I decided to donate a small prize to the winner of Kate's giveaway. I really wondered what it should be, to relate with the stories, and I decided to be a stitched ornament of the winner's favourite day of Christmas (I was thinking of the Dragon dreams freebies - I saw Jo stitching them and I am so in love, but it can be any free pattern of winner's choice). So go leave a comment and list yourself for the giveaway! I assure you, you won't be dissappointed!

~~~~
Надявам се да ви хареса интервюто с Раян и да пробуди интереса ви!
Неговата история се развива в първата част на книгата на Марджи, "12
дни". А сега нека преминем към втората част, която е посветена на хорър
историята, "Млади 80". Това интервю е доста по-кратко, защото е
проведено със злодея, който е страшен, пък и си харесвам тялото така,
покорно ви благодаря.
Защоооо, ама защооо?!? Защо правиш така? Държиш се подло и гадно, да знаеш.
Ха.... хахаххахаха... мухахахха.... направих го, защото можех
А аз си мислех, че поне ще се извиниш с нещо за велика цел или общо благо. Добре, може и да си откровена, но все пак си подла.
Ще споделиш ли как всъщност го направи? Магия или наука?
Никога няма да споделя тайните си... но нека кажем, че използвах всичко,
до което имах достъп и опитах няколко пъти, докато успея.
О, боже! Значи има още жертви! Чудя се колко дълго е продължавало това...
Мислиш ли, че всичко вече е свършило? Ами ако Ана се опита да си върне, каквото ѝ отне? Ами ако приятелят усети подмяната?
Тази глупачка? Няма. Докато приятелят ѝ не знае, тя няма да може да стори нищо.
Няяя! Ана, не се предавай, бори се момиче!
~~~~

I finally gave Moon castle to be framed... and took it back few days ago

I am overall very happy with the result (even if they could have aligned the beads in the bottom, so they would not be stuck in this akward position, as they are now). But anyway, I really like it, and this is actually my first framed work! I decided to go with soemthing beaded, because the backs of my stitched projects are.... well, let's say not very neat!

Now I just can't wait to start its corresponding piece (well I call it that, because of the colours and the butterflies, but they are not actually part of a series) - The Kiss

March Madness

In the beginning of the month, I made myself the following multi-level plan:

Round 1 - Work with

*full crosses - yes, on Bath day, Hogfather, Oregano, Steam punk fairy and Howl

*half cross/ tent stitch

*beads

*backstitch /special stitches - back stitching on Oregano

To do for the rest of the month - beads on Amethyst and tent stitch on Spring

Round 2

*finish something (yes little birdie project, I'm looking at you...) -
yup! Oh my, a finish! Just the little plant poke, but still

*start something - in honour of DWJ March, and simply because I like the pattern - Howl and Sophie

Round 3 - Work on every of my current wips, even if it's just few stitches

*Spring in Japan

*Steam punk fairy

*Hogfather

*Amethyst

*Bath day

*Oregano-hummingbird

* and something else I'm missing right now

Wow, I actually did so much of my plan? Oh dear, what's going on with me? But just words without proof are wirth nothing, right? So here are the piccus

Bath day - just as you remember him from the first weekend of March

Steampunk Fairy - the new is all the brown in the bottom

Poor Hogfather - I haven't picked him for a while. The progress here is not very visible - I just added some of the darkest red in the right upper side

The proud finish - I actually should be ashamed from the quality of the backstitch, rather than proud, but still. A finish is a finish is a finish. I still have to mount it tho.

And finally the new start - almost no progress form the last post on Howl and Sophie, so I'm just adding here the old picture for the report to be full.

Phew, this is it! Happy stitching to you all!

~~~
Този уикенд се пада ежемесечното IHSW - уикендът, през който участниците се "усамотяват" в компанията на своите проекти :) Също така по средата на месеца сравняваме и как сме напреднали с Темалишъс. Мартенската тема беше Лудост. Оригиналната лудост е всеки ден - нов проект, но аз си я трансформирах под формата на едно планче с три нива
Първи - да работя с
*кръстчета - да, на Дена за баня, Стиймпънк феята, Риган-колибрито и Дядо Прас
*пълукръст
*мъниста
*бекстич - на колибрито
До края на месеца ми остават Японската пролет с полукръст и Аметист - с мъниста
Втори
*да завърша нещо - да! такова чудо не се очакваше - но ето че Риганчето е завършено. Кривичък му е бекстича, но пак си го харесвам. Пък и завършено си е :) Само остава да го кача на пръчицата и да го бодна в някоя саксия
*да започна нещо - по случай, че месец Март е посветен на Даян Уейн Джоунс, пък и просто защото много харесвам Хоул - започнах схема с него и Софи
Трети - Да работя по малко върху всеки от настоящите ми проекти
*Аметист
*Стиймпънк
*Дядо Прас
*Ден за баня
*Японска пролет
*Риган-колибри
*И каквото там още изпускам в момента
И какво се оказва? Доста добре напредвам с месечния план XD Направо да не повярва човек
Do you know that March 2013 is Diana Wynne Jones
month? Have you been celebrating for more than 2 weeks already, or you
just found out?
In any case - it's never too late to join - especially as there is a Howl's moving castle watchalong, hosted at We be reading!
Howl'd
moving castle is my all time favourite from Ghibli's movies. so I can't
wait for tonight. Go check We be reading to find out the exact time of
the watch a long, the tweeter chat and more :D
This month I
haven't got a chance to read some DWJ, but instead I started a
How'stitching project! The pattern is from Sprite Stitches - not the littlemojo one. It's still in the very beginning, but I will work
on it during the movie and I will update with a real Theme-a-licious post after it
Знаете
ли, че март 2013 е месец на Даяна Уейн Джоунс? Подсказвам - авторката
на Хоул :) Независимо дали вече две седмици празнувате, или чак сега
чувате, винаги може човек да се включи, още повече, че за тази вечер (19
часа наше време) е планувано гледане на класиката на Гибли - която поне
за мен е по-добра и от книгата ;D
Отбийте се през We be reading ако ви е интересно да узнаете повече!
Аз
този месец не успях да прочета нещо друго от тази авторка, затова пък в
нейна чест подхванах една схема с Хоул и Софи. Още съм съвсем в
началото, но цяло филмче смятам да работя.... което едва ли ще доведе до повече от стотина бода, ама и малко е нещо :)
Do you know that Jo from Serendipitous Stitching participated in National Letter Writing Month? Well I was one of the lucky recipients!!! It was totally unexpected and look what I found in the package!
I had my eye on this one for some time, but every time I was just about to buy it, I decided against it, because the only copy left was always either with teared cover or something similar. And now I have a brand new shiny edition !:D Thank you so so much, Jo!
Then I got my signed copy, while it was expected, it was still awesome
March Madness
Work on something different every day...it's madness...of the funnest possible kind.
The theme for March is madness. This is actually one of my fav month's themes, because you have freedom with the theme. Last year I was quite surprized to find out that the March madness had nothing to do with hares - I was all like Whaddayamean no bunnies?!? but got over it :)
Since it's all about get mad with things, here are my different level of march madness
Round 1 - Work with
*full crosses
*half cross/ tent stitch
*beads
*backstitch /special stitches
Round 2
*finish something (yes little birdie project, I'm looking at you...)
*start something
Round 3 - Work on every of my current wips, even if it's just few stitches
*Spring in Japan
*Steam punk fairy
*Hogfather
*Amethyst
*Bath day
*Oregano-hummingbird
* and something else I'm missing right now
This is madness for you! I wonder what I will manage to do. I went with the madness today, it was a warm and lazy day and I worked on Bath day. The teddy bear in the middle is divided between 4 pages, and now I finisshed the light brown on the third one. This is how it was last time you saw it:
On no-mad notes, today was the 1st of March which means spring festival, but this year I had almost no time to go and search for models as I usually do.I couldn't send away martenichki either. So sorry girls :/ I'll try my best next year to prepare everything in time.
Tomorrow will be mail day - I'm in home town and will go visit the post office. I have an order of beading kits, and I think I should have a book waiting for me too - the author wrote me he sent it last week, so it should be here - and it's authographed, yay!
Wishing you all great weekend and awesome month of March :)
За месец март темата на Темълишъс е Лудост :) Миналата година си мислех, че това е свързано с Мартенския заек, но за съжаление се оказа, че няма нищо общо. Така или иначе, темата си е луда. Голямото предизвикателство е да работиш върху нещо различно всеки ден от месеца, но всъщност е оставена доста свобода да разтълкуваш както си искаш своята лудост. Моята ще има три етапа
Първи - да работя с
*кръстчета
*пълукръст
*мъниста
*бекстич
Втори
*да завърша нещо
*да започна нещо
Трети - Да работя по малко върху всеки от настоящите ми проекти
*Аметист
*Стиймпънк
*Дядо Прас
*Ден за баня
*Японска пролет
*И каквото там още изпускам в момента
Относно не луди неща - Честита Баба Марта! Тази година не успях изобщо да обикалям, за да избирам мартеници. Съвсем случайно попаднах на една мартеница-поничка, и това май беше най-добрия ми улов, но получих и страхотна мартеница овца.
This tie around I just want to announce, that a show will be visiting my blogs in March. That's right! That would be the
The suddenly Kate show! Maybe you know Kate from her Momuboocrea Island, her crfaty blog, but now the Show is the active one!
Because, you see, Kate is not only a great crafter with tons of cute projects, she also writes, and is awesome in this! If you haven't already, check her on going series, Girl's best friend, on her blog, and as I'm sure you will like it, stay tuned - because there will be a tour, promoting her e-book!
I'm pretty excited to say that I will be one of the stops for the tour. I will probably feature it on both my blogs, but anyway - my date is 25th of March! But the tour is staring at the beginning of the month, so if you're interested, you should go check the authour's blog and fing out more about the book and other participants in the tour!
But here is what I managed last weekend during the IHSW. This is also kind of update for the Themealicous - the theme for the month is Figural February, and so, my japanese maiden now has a face.. or more face than she used to have. I'm almost done with the fun parts from this project. most of the left side is blue sky and white flowers... that are not fun XP
Ако ме бива в нещо, то е да закъснявам. Така че това е един вид отчет за IHSW, който беше миналата седмица, а също така и за Темълишъс. Темата за месеца е Фигури (като човешки, персонажи), и по този случай яонската ми девойка се сдоби с лице. Или поне сега има повече лице, отколкото преди. За съжаление, вече почти съм свършила с веселите части от този проект - останалото от лявата страна е предимно синьо небе и цветчета, които са... скучни ^^"" Topchohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00417901742040467894noreply@blogger.com11
