Happy frame dance!

Squee! I finally gave Moon castle to be framed... and took it back few days ago

I am overall very happy with the result (even if they could have aligned the beads in the bottom, so they would not be stuck in this akward position, as they are now). But anyway, I really like it, and this is actually my first framed work! I decided to go with soemthing beaded, because the backs of my stitched projects are.... well, let's say not very neat!

Now I just can't wait to start its corresponding piece (well I call it that, because of the colours and the butterflies, but they are not actually part of a series) - The Kiss

Най-накрая си дадох Лунния замък за рамкиране... и си го прибрах преди няколко дни и още не мога да му се нарадвам. Това всъщност е първото нещо, което слагам в рамка - като знам какви са ми гръбчетата на шитите неща... направо ме е срам да ги занеса XD Затова реших да пробвам първо с нещо мънистено.

И сега, като резултат - направо нямам търпение да подхвана подхождащия на Лунния замък проект (поне аз реших, че си подхождат, заради цветовете и пеперудите) - Целувката.

March IHSW and Theme-a-licious check in

So it seems that this weekend is the IHSW. As ususal, I thought it was next week, but was reminded thanks to all of your blogs. And - lucky me - I actually did hermitted this time and get some work done for the Theme-a-licious March madness

 

 March Madness

  In the beginning of the month, I made myself the following multi-level plan:

Round 1 - Work with

*full crosses - yes, on Bath day, Hogfather, Oregano, Steam punk fairy and Howl

*half cross/ tent stitch

*beads

*backstitch /special stitches - back stitching on Oregano

 

To do for the rest of the month - beads on Amethyst and tent stitch on Spring

Round 2

*finish something (yes little birdie project, I'm looking at you...) - yup! Oh my, a finish! Just the little plant poke, but still

*start something - in honour of DWJ March, and simply because I like the pattern - Howl and Sophie

Round 3 - Work on every of my current wips, even if it's just few stitches

*Spring in Japan

*Steam punk fairy

*Hogfather

*Amethyst

*Bath day

*Oregano-hummingbird

* and something else I'm missing right now

Wow, I actually did so much of my plan? Oh dear, what's going on with me? But just words without proof are wirth nothing, right? So here are the piccus

Bath day - just as you remember him from the first weekend of March

Steampunk Fairy - the new is all the brown in the bottom

Poor Hogfather - I haven't picked him for a while. The progress here is not very visible - I just added some of the darkest red in the right upper side

The proud finish - I actually should be ashamed from the quality of the backstitch, rather than proud, but still. A finish is a finish is a finish. I still have to mount it tho.

And finally the new start - almost no progress form the last post on Howl and Sophie, so I'm just adding here the old picture for the report to be full.

Този уикенд се пада ежемесечното IHSW - уикендът, през който участниците се "усамотяват" в компанията на своите проекти :) Също така по средата на месеца сравняваме и как сме напреднали с Темалишъс. Мартенската тема беше Лудост. Оригиналната лудост е всеки ден - нов проект, но аз си я трансформирах под формата на едно планче с три нива

Първи - да работя с
*кръстчета - да, на Дена за баня, Стиймпънк феята, Риган-колибрито и Дядо Прас
*пълукръст
*мъниста
*бекстич - на колибрито

До края на месеца ми остават Японската пролет с полукръст и Аметист - с мъниста
Втори
*да  завърша нещо - да! такова чудо не се очакваше - но ето че Риганчето е завършено. Кривичък му е бекстича, но пак си го харесвам. Пък и завършено си е :) Само остава да го кача на пръчицата и да го бодна в някоя саксия
*да започна нещо - по случай, че месец Март е посветен на Даян Уейн Джоунс, пък и просто защото много харесвам Хоул - започнах схема с него и Софи

Трети - Да работя по малко върху всеки от настоящите ми проекти
*Аметист
*Стиймпънк
*Дядо Прас
*Ден за баня
*Японска пролет
*Риган-колибри
*И каквото там още изпускам в момента

И какво се оказва? Доста добре напредвам с месечния план XD Направо да не повярва човек

Diana Wynne Jones march :)

Hello there!
Do you know that March 2013 is Diana Wynne Jones month? Have you been celebrating for more than 2 weeks already, or you just found out?
In any case - it's never too late to join - especially as there is a Howl's moving castle watchalong, hosted at We be reading!

Howl'd moving castle is my all time favourite from Ghibli's movies. so I can't wait for tonight. Go check We be reading to find out the exact time of the watch a long, the tweeter chat and more :D
This month I haven't got a chance to read some DWJ, but instead I started a How'stitching project! The pattern is from Sprite Stitches - not the littlemojo one. It's still in the very beginning, but I will work on it during the movie and I will update with a real Theme-a-licious post after it

Знаете ли, че март 2013 е месец на Даяна Уейн Джоунс? Подсказвам - авторката на Хоул :) Независимо дали вече две седмици празнувате, или чак сега чувате, винаги може човек да се включи, още повече, че за тази вечер (19 часа наше време) е планувано гледане на класиката на Гибли - която поне за мен е по-добра и от книгата ;D

Аз този месец не успях да прочета нещо друго от тази авторка, затова пък в нейна чест подхванах една схема с Хоул и Софи. Още съм съвсем в началото, но цяло филмче смятам да работя.... което едва ли ще доведе до повече от стотина бода, ама и малко е нещо :)

So happy, and blessed, and amazed

So I mentioned to you that it was time for me to gather the mail... but what I found was beyond my expectations!
Do you know that Jo  from Serendipitous Stitching participated in National Letter Writing Month? Well I was one of the lucky recipients!!! It was totally unexpected and look what I found in the package!

I had my eye on this one for some time, but every time I was just about to buy it, I decided against it, because the only copy left was always either with teared cover or something similar. And now I have a brand new shiny edition !:D Thank you so so much, Jo!

Then I got my signed copy, while it was expected, it was still awesome

And then I met with Vils ( the girl I made the tea-choco-coffee combo for) and look at the beautiful presents she made me!

I hope I haven't missed anything of the gorgeous stuff! Aw, I feel like such a bad stitchy friend and blogger, I don't really deserve all that awesomeness. But still so happy - I had such silly happy grin all day! Thank you all!

Theme-a-licious March (and general) plans

 

 March Madness

Work on something different every day...it's madness...of the funnest possible kind.

 The theme for March is madness. This is actually one of my fav month's themes, because you have freedom with the theme. Last year I was quite surprized to find out that the March madness had nothing to do with hares - I was all like Whaddayamean no bunnies?!? but got over it :) 

 Since it's all about get mad with things, here are my different level of march madness

Round 1 - Work with

This is madness for you! I wonder what I will manage to do. I went with the madness today, it was a warm and lazy day and I worked on Bath day. The teddy bear in the middle is divided between 4 pages, and now I finisshed the light brown on the third one. This is how it was last time you saw it:

On no-mad notes, today was the 1st of March which means spring festival, but this year I had almost no time to go and search for models as I usually do.I couldn't send away martenichki either. So sorry girls :/ I'll try my best next year to prepare everything in time.
Tomorrow will be mail day  - I'm in  home town and will go visit the post office. I have an order of beading kits, and I think I should have a book waiting for me too - the author wrote me he sent it last week, so it should be here - and it's authographed, yay!

За месец март темата на Темълишъс е Лудост :) Миналата година си мислех, че това е свързано с Мартенския заек, но за съжаление се оказа, че няма нищо общо. Така или иначе, темата си е луда. Голямото предизвикателство е да работиш върху нещо различно всеки ден от месеца, но всъщност е оставена доста свобода да разтълкуваш както си искаш своята лудост. Моята ще има три етапа

Относно не луди неща - Честита Баба Марта! Тази година не успях изобщо да обикалям, за да избирам мартеници. Съвсем случайно попаднах на една мартеница-поничка, и това май беше най-добрия ми улов, но получих и страхотна мартеница овца.

A show is visiting :)

Hello everyone! This tie around I just want to announce, that a show will be visiting my blogs in March. That's right! That would be the The suddenly Kate show! Maybe you know Kate from her Momuboocrea Island, her crfaty blog, but now the Show is the active one!
Because, you see, Kate is not only a great crafter with tons of cute projects, she also writes, and is awesome in this! If you haven't already, check her on going series, Girl's best friend, on her blog, and as I'm sure you will like it, stay tuned - because there will be a tour, promoting her e-book!
I'm pretty excited to say that I will be one of the stops for the tour. I will probably feature it on both my blogs, but anyway - my date is 25th of March! But the tour is staring at the beginning of the month, so if you're interested, you should go check the authour's blog and fing out more about the book and other participants in the tour!

Something like IHSW and themealicous?

If I am good at anything, that would be being late. But here is what I managed last weekend during the IHSW. This is also kind of update for the Themealicous - the theme for the month is Figural February, and so, my japanese maiden now has a face.. or more face than she used to have. I'm almost done with the fun parts from this project. most of the left side is blue sky and white flowers... that are not fun XP

Темата за месеца е Фигури (като човешки, персонажи), и по този случай яонската ми девойка се сдоби с лице. Или поне сега има повече лице, отколкото преди. За съжаление, вече почти съм свършила с веселите части от този проект - останалото от лявата страна е предимно синьо небе и цветчета, които са... скучни ^^""
