Theme-a-licious March (and general) plans

 

 March Madness

Work on something different every day...it's madness...of the funnest possible kind.

 The theme for March is madness. This is actually one of my fav month's themes, because you have freedom with the theme. Last year I was quite surprized to find out that the March madness had nothing to do with hares - I was all like Whaddayamean no bunnies?!? but got over it :) 

 Since it's all about get mad with things, here are my different level of march madness

Round 1 - Work with

Round 3 - Work on every of my current wips, even if it's just few stitches

This is madness for you! I wonder what I will manage to do. I went with the madness today, it was a warm and lazy day and I worked on Bath day. The teddy bear in the middle is divided between 4 pages, and now I finisshed the light brown on the third one. This is how it was last time you saw it:

On no-mad notes, today was the 1st of March which means spring festival, but this year I had almost no time to go and search for models as I usually do.I couldn't send away martenichki either. So sorry girls :/ I'll try my best next year to prepare everything in time.
Tomorrow will be mail day  - I'm in  home town and will go visit the post office. I have an order of beading kits, and I think I should have a book waiting for me too - the author wrote me he sent it last week, so it should be here - and it's authographed, yay!

За месец март темата на Темълишъс е Лудост :) Миналата година си мислех, че това е свързано с Мартенския заек, но за съжаление се оказа, че няма нищо общо. Така или иначе, темата си е луда. Голямото предизвикателство е да работиш върху нещо различно всеки ден от месеца, но всъщност е оставена доста свобода да разтълкуваш както си искаш своята лудост. Моята ще има три етапа

Относно не луди неща - Честита Баба Марта! Тази година не успях изобщо да обикалям, за да избирам мартеници. Съвсем случайно попаднах на една мартеница-поничка, и това май беше най-добрия ми улов, но получих и страхотна мартеница овца.

A show is visiting :)

Hello everyone! This tie around I just want to announce, that a show will be visiting my blogs in March. That's right! That would be the The suddenly Kate show! Maybe you know Kate from her Momuboocrea Island, her crfaty blog, but now the Show is the active one!
Because, you see, Kate is not only a great crafter with tons of cute projects, she also writes, and is awesome in this! If you haven't already, check her on going series, Girl's best friend, on her blog, and as I'm sure you will like it, stay tuned - because there will be a tour, promoting her e-book!
I'm pretty excited to say that I will be one of the stops for the tour. I will probably feature it on both my blogs, but anyway - my date is 25th of March! But the tour is staring at the beginning of the month, so if you're interested, you should go check the authour's blog and fing out more about the book and other participants in the tour!

Something like IHSW and themealicous?

If I am good at anything, that would be being late. But here is what I managed last weekend during the IHSW. This is also kind of update for the Themealicous - the theme for the month is Figural February, and so, my japanese maiden now has a face.. or more face than she used to have. I'm almost done with the fun parts from this project. most of the left side is blue sky and white flowers... that are not fun XP

Ако ме бива в нещо, то е да закъснявам. Така че това е един вид отчет за IHSW, който беше миналата седмица, а също така и за Темълишъс. Темата за месеца е Фигури (като човешки, персонажи), и по този случай яонската ми девойка се сдоби с лице. Или поне сега има повече лице, отколкото преди. За съжаление, вече почти съм свършила с веселите части от този проект - останалото от лявата страна е предимно синьо небе и цветчета, които са... скучни ^^""

(Not) Secret (anymore) stitching sweetheart

The hop is all done and now I can show you the photo of what I stitched for it :)
I turned to be the "sweethesrt"of Shebafudge and the Southpaw stitcher was revealed to be the one who made the beatiful piece you saw here on my blog . Those are only two of all the wonderfull participants in the hop organized by Jo!

And here is the photo some of you may have already seen. Some may even recognize part of it - the plush Sheepo that was made some years ago, but the colour combo of the all looked so good, I couldn't resist it! However, all the pink almost gave some people a heart attack! Lol, weaklings XD The pattern I used is a Stitch Specialists freebie for last year's St Valantine. Mmm it has some stick figures... Does that count to the Themealicious then? XD

Actually for the IHSW this weekend I worked on the Spring (Sorry, Heather! If I knew earlier XD I took only the Spring with me, becaus ecarrying around 28 colours seemed more reasonable than.. er 90) I proper update of what I did will be shown tomorrow!

 

Вече всички тайни валентинки и мога спокойно да покажа и аз с какво се представих. Някой може да си спомни плюшката - овцата Шийпо, защото тя беше ушита преди година-две. Затова пък бродерийката си е съвсем нова. Моделчето е фрийби на Stitch Specialists - и логично не съдържа нито едно кръстче, а само специални бодове. Повечето ги направих още от втория път XD

Много съм си доволна и от цветното комбо и от всичко :D Нищо, че на някои им се качи кръвната захар само от един поглед :D

Теоретично в модела има едни фигурки - пръчици... Но за да се класира за Темалишъс за този месец, ще трябва доооста отдалече да заобиколя правилата. Пък и за IHSW този месец успях да хвана пак Японската пролет - и вече свърших интересното по страницата - но утре ще бъде официалният доклад :)

Secret Stitching Sweetheart

Hello lovelies! Usually, I'm not a big fan of St Valantine's day, but this year I am very excited, as I'm taking part in the awesome blog hop, organized by Jo at Serendipitous Stitching!

Yesterday I received the beautiful stitching of my secret stitching sweetheart, and I loved it so! Just look at it:

I'm in love with the blackwork, and the thread effect is gorgeous! And  wonder... who is my secret stitching sweetheart? Maybe you? I can't wait to find out!

По принцип не съм голяма фенка на Св Валентин и приятели (но честит имен ден на всички, които празнуват днес) но ми се отдаде възможност да съм част от един много весел валентински блог подскок :) Организиран е от Джо, която разпредели снимките на творенията на всички участници, и изпрати на всекиго по една тайна валентинка. Следва подскачане от блог на блог, за да намерим на кого се е паднала нашата...
А на мен ми се падна тази красота горе. Напоследък blackwork техниката ме привлича, а и ефектът от цветовете е страхотен. Умирам от желание да открия коя е моята валентинка, така че, който е, да си признава :)

Three essential substances

Chocolate, tea and coffee. The things I'm going to show you all revolve around these three. It's a present I made for a friend from book forums, who studies chemistry. It was for her birthday in December, but we couldn't meet, so I added some other things to the bag.
First is a calendar.. and I so love how it turned. On every page it has a tea bag with a different kind of tea, according to the zodiac sign (the bag opens from the bottom and so the tea can be used wthout unglueing the zodiac picture), a one month callendar pad and a tag saying "Janyary books", "February books" and so on. On the back of every pade there are few memo sheets with bunnies, that are supposed to serve as a mini book diary - just to mark the titles and eventually the dates. The calendar turned a little bulky at the one side, but after all the tea is drank, it will be just right. All the pages are tied with a ribbon, that can be adjusted.

First I thought of making it just with different kinds of tea but the fact I saw this astral tea at the shop moved everything to a whole new level :) I really love how it turned, even of not all the tags correspond as well to the pages as I would want it.

Шоколад, кафе и чай. Предметите, които ще ви покажа в този пост се въртят все около тези три вещества, без които не можем. СТава дума за подарък за книжна съфорумка, която учи химия. Трябваше да и го дам на рождение и ден през декември, но не можахме да си видим, и аз продължих да добавям разни неща.
Най-напред книжно чаеният календар. Идеята за такова нещо се породи в мен от предизвикателството Чай и книги на The book garden и фактът, че в магазина случайно попаднах на този зодиакален чай определено помогна идеята да се дооформи. На всяка страничка има календарче за месеца, пакетче чай с различен вкус, съответстващ на зодията (пакетчетата се отварят отдолу, така че чаят може да се извади без картинката да се отлепя. Може да се остане като украса дори и след като чаят си е отдавна изпит) и малко тагче, на което пише "Януарски книги", "Мартенски.." и т.н. . А на гърба на страничката има няколко листчета , които да служат като мини читателско дневниче - само да си отбелязваш заглавието, автора и датата. Въпреки че не всички тагчета се връзват идеално със страниците, много ми хареса как се получи календара. Малко е бухнал от едната страна, където е струпан всичкия чай, но след като се махнат пакетчетата, ще слегне и ще стане тъкмо. Страниците са вързани с панделка, така че ще може да се регулира при нужда.

All of it was done while waiting pages to load. Poor old PC is trying his best but I can't wait for my little laptop to come back home fixed. Needless to say, I've been progressing every time I wait for a picture to upload in this post here now, lol! This reminds me of my Knitting for dummies book. In the first chapter they explain that knitting is the perfect hobby for waiting - for the traffic lights to change (WTF? bad idea!) or while waiting for a page to load (this one is confirmed! Stitching works too!)

На поста ми от по-рано днес, Джо коментира, че бавен компютър е равнозначно на повече шиене. И беше абсолютно права. Който е видял състоянието на градинския проект от тази сутрин ,може да го сравни с настоящото - и целият този напредък е постигнат докато една или друга страница в интернет зарежда. Напомня ми на първата глава от книгата Плетене for dummies, където обясняват как това е перфектното хоби, когато трябва да чакаш - например светофарът да се смени (ъ? лоша идея, ако питате мен!) или докато чакаш страница да се зареди (това вече е лично потвърдено. )

Second in this post comes my yesterday project that kept me from stitching. My mom asked me to make something for a bday she was going to. the present was a SPA card, and so I made an embelished envelope for it. The photos are bad because they were taken in hurry, the colours are quite brighter. When you pull the pink ribbon, the cvoucher card comes out.

 Ето го и проектът, за който разказвах, че зае голяма част от вчерашната ми вечер. Писах се доброволка да направя картичка/опаковка за ваучера за СПА , който майка и приятели щяха да подаряват. За моя изненада се наложи да е по-голяма, отколкото очаквах и нормално правя, та се наложи да вкарам мислене как да украся. иначе е картичка - вътре пликче, а щом дръпнеш розовата панделка, изскача картата ваучер. Тъй като снимките бяха правени много набързо, не са особено хубави, цветовете всъщност са по ярки. Ммм, розово и кафяво. Една от любиите ми комбинации.

And last, this weekend there is a mini Bloggiesta!
Bloggiesta   is an event that is all about pumping out your little blog place. In the mini bloggiesta, one of the hostesses is Tif   and her challenge is to clean up those side lines! Mine sure need some cleaning! I was about to work on the look of both of my blogs, so I guess I'm just lucky Bloggiesta is the same weekend, lol!

И накрая, този уикенд се провежда Блогиеста. Целта и е да вдъхнови хората да си поразчистят и постегнат малко блогчетата. Едно от мини предизвикателствата този път е хоствано от Тиф и засяга страничните ленти - при мен там определено има нужда от чистка! Аз така или иначе щях да се занимавам с външния вид и на двата си блога тази седмица, та изглежда просто съм извадила късмет, че съвпада с Блогиестата :D
