And as I don't like to write a blog post without putting some piccu to make it more interesting, I want to show you... Kadaj! Today a new dose of FFVII has arrived on the Dork Stitch blog!!! You can bet that got me excited! I was planning to show you today a finish of Gin or my new start of a Bleach chibi, but I couldn't help myself. I left my Byakuya (!!) start and had to try my luck with Kadaj
... but I have to admit I kinda failed with the colours on this one. To be honest, while stitching these sprites, I never, even once, checked the actual colour numbers and just randomly picked some thread from my box. For now it worked wonderfully well. For the Kadaj pattern, that asks for 5 colours, I used 5 thread brands - black from Puppets, face colour from a bulgarian brand, and grays DMC (the hair - it was the actual number, lol!) Anchor and Ariadna. But it wasn't a nice shot. The grays on the coat are blending together, and the face kinda got that delicious melon color. I don't know yet, maybe I'll redo it tomorrow, especially if after a good night sleep my arms stop hurting.
In any case, be sure that Kadaj will have his border. Why? Bah, do I need a reason to cage a bishie?

И тъй като не обичам да пиша блог пост, без да сложа някоя картинка да е по-пъстричко, този път ще ви покажа Кададж! За днес смятах да показвам как завърших Гин, или новото Блийч чиби, което почнах, но щом видях, че на блога Dork Stitch e пристигнала нова доза от Final Fantasy, зарязах започнатия Бякуя (!!) и се пробвах с Кададж!
Обьче този път нещо не налучках цветовете. Трябва да призная, че докато правех предишните, нито веднъж не погледнах истинските номера на цветовете, а просто си избирах някакви от кутията с конци, и тази тактика работеше доста добре засега. За Кададж, за когото са нужни 5 цвята, в употреба влязоха 5 марки конци, от които изненадващо DMC-то беше истинският номер. Но със сивите не уцелих, защото се сливат, а и нещо цветът на лицето подозрително напомня зрял пъпеш. Може и да ми скимне да го пренаправя утре, особено ако ме отболи ръката.

One more cheap piece of stitching is done! This time I've used all of my Tusal blue leftovers and a sizable amount of the purple too. It's quite big, compared to the WTF green one

Other thing I wanted to show you how I displayed my FFVII party:
Now I'm having very hard time choosing what to work on next. While starting and finishing a cute sprite the same day while watching a movie sure feels good, I still have some bigger works that need more attention too. Last week I worked on the Japanese Spring but plan to show you an update once the whole tird page is done. I want to do something *cheap* in pink and oh how I do want to go one stitching anime characters.
Well for now I just think I'll sit and read some more of the last Percy Jackson, although it will be such a pity to end it. Hope they'll translate the first book of the sequel series soon.

Eто го и следващото нещо, изработено от остатъците от Тусала - този път отидоха всичките сини и голяма част от лилавите. Големичко излезе, особено в сравнение със зеленото WTF. Схемата отново е от Kincavel Krosses
Другото, което исках да покажа, е как подредих малкото си FFVII парти :D

След като завърших тези, сега не мога да реша какво да подхвана. Малките схемички, които почваш в началото на филма и свършваш преди финалните надписи, бяха много забавни, но имам и по-големи работи, които искат да им се обърне малко внимание . Миналат седмица работих върху Японската пролет, но смятам да я покажа чак след като завърша цялата трета страница. А ми се иска и да направя нещо друго *евтенийско* в розово, а пък как ми е дошла музата да шия аниме геройчета!...
Докато мисля по въпроса, ще прочета още малко от последния том за Пърси Джаксън, макар че ще мие жалко да го свърша. Дано скоро преведат и първата книга от следващата поредица.

Tiny Sephiroth is done too and ready to join the others. They're not expecting him, although he got an invitation, but I guess didn't get the RSVP part. Well, he's bringing cake, so it must be all ok.
Tiny Sephiroth took almost one Return of the king, up to the eagle part. He doesn't actually mind pink, nor he has some sense of solidarity, but he does hate me for calling him tiny Sephiroth and blames me for his bad hair day , so this time the border s more of a precaution. I don't know if it'd be able to hold a 31 stitches high sprite tho, I should have used a double thread >.>
You should already know that the origin of these patterns is the famous Dork Stitch blog . And that's not all! A secret information leaked that some new FFVII patterns may be on the way!!! On this point, I do love Kadaj ^^ but I fail to picture him as a sprite!
Мъничкият Сефирот е готов да се присъедини към останалите от Final Fantasy! Те не го очакват, въпеки че Сефирот получи покана, но предполагам не е схванал частта с RSVP. Но тъй като носи торта, предполагам, че нещата ще се наредят.
Мъничкия Сефирот отне почти едно цяло Завръщане на краля, до онази част с орлит по-точно. За разлика от останалите, той няма нищо против розовото, нито пък е обзет от някакви чувства за колегиалност. Но тъй като не му харесва, че го наричам мъничък, а и смята, че не съм му направила косата добре, той също се сдоби със зелена клетчица.
Както и преди, тази схема иде от блога Dork Stitch . Това бе последната засега, но изтече секретна информация, че може да се появят още герои от FFVII!

But let's keep it short. Yesterday it was Vincent, today comes Tifa!
Tifa doesn't mind pink, but decided to go for the border out of solidarity for the guys. Now with a little bit more luck, tomorrow we might have Sephiroth to join the party (the others don't know yet he's invited) All of the patterns come from the spiffy blog Dork Stitch that often offers not only patterns but quite an educative read, for I learned many new words from there, spiffy being one of them! I really like the sound of it, cause it's one step to fluffy :D

Вчера в 8-битов избродиран образ пред вас се появи Винсент Валънтайн от Final Fantasy, а днес същото направи дружката му Тифа. Missy, авторът на схемичките, а също и на целия блог Dork stitch от самото начало отгатна, че зеленият конец всъщност е бариера, спираща Рено и Винсент да избягат от розовия фон, на който ги насадих, че даже и заших. Тифа лично няма нищо против розовото, но в знак на солидарност също прие да се обгради.
С малко повече късмет, утре към купона ще се присъедини и последният герой, за който има схема. Само че другите не знаят, че е поканен.

I've watched Final Fantasy

... Legend of the Crystals and i'm still recovering.
I'm still recovering from being sick with 38.5 C, but those two are unrelated.
Now, I'm a person who never played the games and probably never will T___T. I've watched Advent Children and Spirtis Within, and for me Final Fantasy means something like "drool bucket". I read the whole FF wiki and became a steady fan. Lately I remembered there were some other FF titles so I watched the Denzel special and the Last Order (anime Seph was kinda very cuute XD). So I bravely went on Legend of the Crystals!
You must agree, that when you expect this
and get this:
you're allowed some shock and frustration!
Chocobo is bald and the girl's but is shining...
So I sit and stitched the tiny Vincent Valantine from Dork Stitch and this is the actual excuse for writing a blog post.
He's stitched in the same manner as Reno.Previously, Missy guessed that the border is there to keep Reno from running away, and she was actually right. You see, Reno didn't like the fact that he was stitched on pink aida as this might ruin his image. Vincent agrees, so I had to stop him too. Vincent is also extreemly depressed how crooked the scan image turned to be, so please don't ask him if he was born on 14th of February or something like this.
I planned to babble on some more things, but in the end deleted the paragraph. This fact should make you very happy. Instead, watch that FFVII AMV down below. Picture in your mind Cloud as he is in the AMV with his cool big bike. Now remove the bike. And put the bald pink chokobo underneath.

I'm so cheap `11 or good there are lots of patterns that can be stitched with random colours

or what I've made of my TUSAL ` 10!

I was pretty curious to see what you people that took part in the last year's Tusal gonna do with you pots of fluff. Cause for me, from the very start it wasn't totally useless, even if it's kinda betraying the name of the whole thing. Before the Tusal I made a "I'm so cheap" bookmark out of leftovers . Now I decided to continue with my I'm so cheap serie.
A whole year of gathering leftovers turned to be quite more productive than I could have imagened. It took a sizable amount of time separate the colours:
Here they are, in a middle stage of the arranging. I found out, that I stitched A LOT in pink and red last year, and in grey too. Almost nothing was done in orange/yellow, little bit more in green, and blue and purple stuffs are in the middle. It was a hard hard work to sort all the different colours too, you know.
Now going on with my cheap evil plan of world domination , I went searching for patterns that can be done in random colours. I liked a bunch of the site Kincavel Krosses . And here is what came out of the green leftovers!
It was really a one nighter, very fast and easy stitch, if not counting the fact I worked with some too short threads. Worked needlepoint 1:4 because it so much faster. Now what to do with the rest! :D

I'm not officialy participating in this year's TUSAL, because I thought I won't have the time and the means to monthly update. But the habit is a habit. I go on putting the orts in the jar. But just for self satisfaction you can say.

Та ето какво излезе от моя ТУСАЛ...
За всеки случай да вметна, че TUSAL - Totally Useless Stitch-A-Long - или Напълно Безполезно Бродиране Заедно, но сами виждане, че НББЗ не звучи особено добре - беше инициатива в блог пространството, в която всички участващи не изхвърляха останките от конци и други неща останали от работата, а ги събираха на специално местенце. Така доста блогъри се обзаведоха със специални Тусал гърненца, бурканчета и шишета от кетчуп. Беше ми доста интересно какво ще се случи със съдържанието им след изминаването на годината, защото за мен от самото начало, това не беше абсолютно безсмислено начинание, макар че по този начин донякъде опровергавам самото заглавие. Преди да де включа в Тусала, от остатъци направих един I'm so cheap книгоразделител . Реших да продължа традицията на I'm so cheap серията. Този път имах доста повече материал, който изключително старателно подредих по цветове, макар че на снимката горе това да прилича на настъргано зеле и моркови за салата. Установих, че през изминалата година съм работила много с розово и червено, а също така и със сиво, за сметка на жълтото и оранжевото, които не можаха да се отчетат с много остатъци. Зеленото е малко повече от жълтото, а сините и лилави остатъци са някъде по средата.

Богат набор от схемички, които могат да се ушият с този миш-маш от цветове открих на Kincavel Krosses и със зелените остатъци сътворих това WTF - принос към nerd културата. За статистиката, отне само една вечер, бързо и лесно, 1:4
сега остават останалите купчинки! Скоро ще видим те в какво ще се превърнат! Надявам се.

Тусалът продължава с пълна сила и тази година, но реших да не съм активен участник, защото едва ли ще мога да обновявам месечно по новолуние, както са правилата. Но навикът си остана, макар и само за лично удовлетворение XD
