I asked for it new for my birthday the year it came out. I was thirteen at the time, and I was smart enough to ask my grandma, who then forever had to check her pressies with mom before she was allowed to buy another thing. I LOVED it!! I read all eleven hundred pages in four days (Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon) and I was in school two of those days. I simply could not get enough. I had to know what happened next. That happens to me a lot. A book just grabs hold and doesn't let go!! I'm glad you enjoyed it as well. If you like the supernatural kind of horror, and somewhat liked The Tommyknockers, you might also try Insomnia. It's an interesting read. The Talisman is another book that has a really good child character in it. It's a joint effort between Stephen King and Peter Straub. Hope you enjoy!!mdgtjuliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06665956958250175869noreply@blogger.com
